System of a Down reall took a hit after Toxicity. Mezmerise/Hypnotize were ok but they were nothing like Toxicity and their first album.

Definitely Maybe - Oasis
One of the most underrated rock&roll albums and bands of all time, for many peaple... very straight and raw sound  love this guys, the poppy sound of WTSMG just ruined all... I mean is a great album... but is not the real raw side that oasis have... we can find masterpieces like life forever, slide away or supersonic...
Ok Computer - Radiohead
One of this masterpieces of the alternative rock
Wolfmother - Wolfmother
Man this band is real pure rock&roll, too bad they split
The Black Album - Metallica
the are so many classics on this album XD

I wasn't too impressed with Wolfmother but I'm surprised they already split. While not great in my eyes, they were beloved by critics. What a shame.

Metal Heaven
They are not in order! But Fiction and Accelerated Evolution are by far my favourits!
Dark Tranquillity - Fiction: this is the best melodic Metal album out there atm! It is heavy, melodic and very well put together.
Devin townsend - Accelerated Evolution: Hevy Devy is my favourit Artist and this is by far my favourit album by him. Not that Heavy but very rocked. I love his voice(best singer ever!) and this albums shows all he can.
Machine Head - The Blackening: Epic Thrash metal album. They came from nothing to something to nothing, then regaining all! Releasing two of the best thrash albums in a row!
Slipknot - All Hope is gone: I love this album, it rocks.. Eventhough i'm not a big Slipknot fan.
Strapping Young Lad - The New Black: Muhaha, that is Hevy devy singing  or screaming  I love this album... Though it sounds more like: Devin featuring S.Y.L ... But whatever
Ayreon - Human Equation: An epic gathering of some of the best singers in the world Arjen make some great music and this shows all he can..
In Flames - Colony: I might not listen much to them atm, But colony is a great In flames album.. (the best also)
In Flames - Come Clarity: second best In Flames album, fast, raw and good melodic deathmetal..
Soilwork - Stabbing the Drama: Modern Melo-Death and they do it supreeme! It is tasty, a little mainstream, yet keeping the style alive.
Soilwork - Predator's Portrait: An older album but just as good as Stabbing the drama... Love it.

Is it as political as they say? I really like their music but I get sick of musicians going off on political tangents. Just because you play a guitar and talk into a mic doesn't make you a political commentator.

I don't know if it political, I don't hear it as political.. I guess songs like: psycosocial, All hope is gone and Gematria(the killing name) are political..
Gematria(the killing name) got a chorus saying:
AMERICA IS A KILLING NAME
IT DOESN’T FEEL OR DISCRIMINATE

- I think that is pretty political... And well All hope is gone is probably about how America is digging their own grave.. And Psycosocial, I'm not sure, sounds a bit like: "YOU CAN GET RIT OF US! STUPID YOU" kind of song
