The homm v story line is very good, different to other homm games, and very originally (a good demon, the king dies, the queen becomes mad xD and demons are 75% qoncuered[they lost Ur-Hekal, and Biara's citadel], Tieru dies too)
11/10
In hof, the story is nice 2, a new race(dwarfs), and very much of the griffin empire are corrupted(Laszlo, Zam[Alaric]).
8/10
in tote, necromancers are good O_O, academy bad, and barbs become a strong faction, when they are slaves. Originaly, but strange.
9/10

Wow, I never finished the H5 and TotE campaigns and never even touched HoF. The plots were akin to the maturity level of Power Rangers. I never fully recovered from Agrael's comment to Veyer about "How at least his head has brains inside."

lexx, in homm I, the story is simplest.
In homm II, the good wins.
In homm III, the good wins again
In homm IV, you win allways, cuz u can play which all races in one campaign.
In homm V, the necros are good, and agrael is good, and it's a demon!!!

Ok but being a part of discussion means, IMHO, saying something contructive O.O
Am I wrong?
Maybe I am, but still any forum I visit this rule is present
What's more- in the other forums writing something what is obvious is usually laughed at...
Thnik about it
Edit:

Are you joking me? I suppose you haven't read the manual.

Not really, if you take a good look at Gelu.

What, was Gelu evil? >.>
I have acctualy begun to play the HoMM3 campaign because I wanted to see how great the story was however it goes slow because... HoMM3 was my favorite game for a long time (and a long time ago) but the gameplay and campaign missions (maybe not the story, but mission objectives) are über bad and boring compared to HoMM5.
I think it was funny how Gem in the first mission mentions the changes in the elf town, it was rather cool.

I dont think he wanted to do that.

No, but the "good guys" do not win as Armageddon's Blade does indeed end up doing what it was created to do.
Btw, of course you will find the storyline of H3 lackluster if you don't play Might and Magic VII as well. Without it, the story won't make total sense - it's like the expansion pack between RoE and AB.
