I've played and enjoyed Dark Forces, Dark Forces 2: Jedi Knight, and the latter's add-on. I also own the next game in the series, but I've not been able to play it for years because I've been a Windows 98 guy up until recently. I'd have to dig up the CD if I want to try it, which is a possibility.
In short, playing with that green lightsaber was so cool back in the late 90's.

Well I pulled out Jedi Outcast and I've been playing it. Thanks to this thread for reminding me.
It's an excellent game. Intriguing level design, and using the force powers is very fun. I like pulling enemy's weapons out of their hands with force pull.
Bonus is it works flawlessly on xp.

Guitarguy, me and you are so similar it's not funny. I still have Dark Forces and I have the second one somewhere around my home. Great games. Dark Force was especially good for the time it was released.

aww yeah Force Unleashed... well... if it was on PC i would've bought it... but alas. 
and i read a review about that game, stating it was no more than just blind killing and destructing, without any common sense required, but a friend of mine says it was a nice game, so I'm not sure what to believe.
About the JK games:
I think Dark Forces II was the best when it comes to story and gameplay. A shame that so few of the characters have been recreated for Jedi Academy

Sadly never played DF: 2, but a friend of mine have it.
Played Outcast, dam i love that game! Epic level design and the lightsaber combat, i guess it got the best combat system that works without to much clutter in my eyes. And the final fight with Desan and the places where you go 4vs1, its a joy And its its suppose to be a forward FPS there is no way to complain on it
Besides, SABER PWNAGE!!!11!!!!!!!!!!
Academy? Played that one to, i just enjoyed the upgrade it was Some interisting missions and the dual sabers and dualblades *drools*
Imo, anybody know a good Academy server? I think i need someting to play once i dig up a copy again.

well I do not know a good server, but I do have a good advise. If you do reinstall Jedi Academy, download the unofficial Knights of the Force expansion, I'm killing time with it. It really adds enough features to the Single Player Mode to keep you busy for decades.
