The ice effects are brilliant, very real.
However it kind of feels like the magma dragon was simply deepfrosted. Or am I the only one that thinks that the magmadragons original textures shimmer through a bit much?

Humm ... I still say somebody should take Relentless' Azure Dragon (Sapphire Dragon) skin from this thread (see post 16) and make to a NCF. It looks so pretty ...

When did Azure Dragon received Blinding Attack and Crippling Wound ??? And instead of boosting morale, they cause their enemies to freeze in panic. Maybe you should replace Blinding, and Cripple Wound with Frightful Aura and Fear Attack (though it becomes a flying Nightmare )?

I made once an Azure from the texture Alci mentioned. It has never been released

It had the following abilities: Living, Large, Fire Breath and Frightful Presence.

Was enough.

that's why it has an alternative name and I was quite curious about what people would say about a totally new and different azure dragon.

1) it is the lava dragon
2) where do you see the magma dragon textures?

I wanted it to be more original than the H3 azure dragon

btw, I have just fixed a mistake and updated the download links. it was tier 7 instead of tier 8.

Interesting, but not the best.
Dragons with fur?

Did you use the mirror on the material so the dragon would look shining like ice?

I wonder if it is possible to have your dragon casting Deep Freeze with attack (like hexing attack but with different spell). If so you don't have to use blind, which is not a very good replacement for freezing.

My mistake I messed up with the names...

Anyways then it's the lava dragons colours who are still very dominant (atleast in my opinion) since you can still see the original colours (the yellowish lava and the black spots) on the dragon. Which spoils the Icy theme.

I've retextured it entirely, what you see is a fur texture I found on google and modified to make it look a bit snow covered.

it is possible and I thought about doing it, but modifying defaultstats.xdb for only one creature seems a bit too much.
and we would have earth daughter and mummies with deep freeze attack

I may have misused the term "texture" then, sorry about that. In any case "a bit snow covered." Is exactly the "problem" I mean.
I personally just find it a bit weired to have those awesome ice effects next to "snow covered" lava (which in itself already looks strange). But this is really not about critizing you^^. I'll shut up now.

This is only a ice dragon!
It can never be an azure dragon!

Azure dragons are blue, and can fly!..

But ice dragon is cool! And the texture fits the name "ice" better!

Well yes it's an Ice Dragon.

But it's too bright - I know it looks good in the texture (not too bright), but you should make ALL textures a little darker than usual, since the ambient lights from the game tend to lighten up the whole scene. This is a general tip.

It depends on the light. I think the Grass one is the brightest (The Swamp one is obviously darker, but it also has a weird yellowish color so it's not the best to test your creatures there)
