Yeah I understand. I'm just a little frustrated, because I've spent maybe 2 days just trying to figure out why huge/impossible maps refuse to load after I save them.

IRMG, contrary to RTMG (what a misleading name) is a completely new, separate and standalone generator which creates maps with its own algorithms and stuffs them with unearthly amounts of objects and enemies. Compared to Salamandre, you are quite annoying haha. Put that aside though, with this tool IRMG, everytime I try to create a map it gives me errors such as ,impossible to make army or couldn't put creatures there. I haven't changed anything so what am I doing wrong. It's doing this all the time. If you could also help me to figure out how to add unearthly amount of monsters and treasures would be nice.

Never mind I figured out how to get rid of the errors, I seemed to be using jebus so I changed it. But the other question still stands.

Hmm that is weird. Everytime I collect resources or go to an object, the game freezes for a few seconds kinda like it lags. This happens just when the hero picks up resources.

What a shame, I was just really getting into this tool, it seems quite great, but still I've got the same problem, once I save the impossible/huge map and try to reload it, bam half way through the loading bar I get an error and it goes to desktop. Why oh why, I was really hoping it would work this time. By the way can you make undergrounds with this tool, I couldn't find an option like that.

I can confirm the bug. If I create an impossible map with IRMG and random huge template the game will crash while trying to load a saved game.

Well, it is common bug that occurs on overstuffed impossible maps, such as Elysium for example. Keep in mind that IRMG always spawns thousands of objects, so it may be the reason.

Hello all, nice to see the raised activity about IRMG . To Larkin : I use an older version of IRMG which works really fine and I've made 2 templates for it,they dont work on the new version. Now I played my smaller template on extralarge maps and it is very fun to play, tested it on huge maps and it works also, my bigger template successfully created a map on impossible size ,the game started and then I saved and loaded ,all works fine, the saves are huge 18mb ,but everything works good. These russian guys did a good job,but their english is really bad, I asked the same questions you ask and never got a proper answer,also tried different combinations on the new version but it never worked ,so I use the old one. If you want I can send you the version I use and my 2 templates with some explanation, just leave me an e-mail. Cheers !

I've tried 9 times to generate maps using moz templates from heroesleague.ru and newest version of irmg. I have always gotten different errors. I changed one variable from 2 to 1,5 as moz mentioned.
Am i too stupid to use that thing or is it that bugged ?
Ive started a game vs jorko using his templates.I have to say its very funny and the map makes much more sense than those from the buildin heroes rmg.

I found out that object density had to be decreased drastically, to at least 0,1. But thanks for the quick help
For Moz templates there are graphic files with russian descriptions of the structure of those templates. Can anybody translate that or is there already a translation ?

hey all!

i'm glad i finally found some discussion about IRMG that is not like 2 years old.

i'm interested in 4 things:

1) does the "Player Faction Related Mine" option work
2) @nevermind: what exactly did you mean by "chain Town or mines generation with exact set chosen. This allow to make real Random templates"
3) any way of adding sphinx or magma shrine to a zone?
4) any way of adding guards to resource/gold/random treasures?

1) No , i wanted to add it but never got around to it , Now the project is in the hands of the russian developers..

2)Where exactly did you see that?

3) Yes all you need to add an object to the creation is to modify the xml file of objects that acts as the data - base of the program

basically its path is
C:\Program Files\IRMG\Data\Objects.xml

once you add it there you can create a template that will contain the object.

4) Some have guards no? Anyway hmm these objects are in the object set option under the list of enhancing objects and the value there determines the strength of the guard on it.
