hey, sorry i was offline and will be for some more time, at least till the 15th, since im totally snowed due to neglecting university responsibilities :/ (also i got a new job, which prevents me from having spare time in weekends) guess that means no tourney for me...

@corcoran, sorry to hear that... but good that you know your priorities plus there will always be time for other games/tournies later so no big deal (as long as you come back once in a while )
At least now we know why I kept getting more lucky in our first lot of games (like about 7): because that map was biased for player 1 where it got relic artifacts in merchants & player 2 often did not
luckily latest map corrected that & change to level 18 may even make orcs without shatter better
@rottenvenetic, thanks for entertaining games too (was better after our first 3 games which were affected by lop-sided artis affecting who strikes first/uneven matchups/destructive spell booster artis - but I was not using my normal gaming laptop which meant that I did not get sylvan in my first random game vs you - but you still ended up with inferno )

Had 2 Duels with Blizzard on the temple version of the match where I got pretty lucky in both matches. The first I got Inferno (jaij) and Urgash Will. Of course that was a sign for my inevitable victory! Well at least that's how I liked to interpret it.
Urgash Hordes vs. The Green Scurge .
The second was Necro vs. Haven in which Blizzard got an amazing 24 defense with Haven oO. To balance that out I had Luck with Necro so I could really play them to their full might potential and that with great success.

Funny coincidence that I got Urgash Will set in my 1st game agst blizzard too, but didn't help sinitar much
Poor laszlo only had 1sp so immunity only lasted a turn anyway [hence the benediction that lasts for more than 1 turn]

Did another duel with Primus with my Dungeon vs his Necro. I came into it beaming with confidence with 29SP, 180mana and Expert Defense, ready to freeze the undead to death. I was greeted with a Dragon Flame Tongue (and with few alternate elemental spells), and it turned into a brutal match where I won by the skin of my teeth:

Just thought I'd add that I had all 3 decrease dmg by 50% artis with light/dark necro (if only I'd got MoA for mass endurance as not much point getting light just for mass haste...) but still felt that my hero was 1 or 2 actions behind where I wanted to be (or may have felt that way because of last stand & mass decay ran out just before killing some stacks) & also now know CotN is no good v dungeon & mass decay totally doesn't work on invisible units, gg blizzard

Who wants to play me? Blizzard that big chicken is all busy with petty stuff like "socializing" and "eating" so he won't do as an opponent. Maybe someone with actual balls is available for a duel?

Had a couple of lvl 18 games with Azagal
I didn't understand his uncertainty before 1st battle, but I got bit lucky (gees, that's the 3rd dungeon v orc matchup we've played so far with me being orc every time!)

in 2nd game, if I levelled up better, woulda been more smashing

edit: gahk, I can't believe I had defence in 2nd game (esp since not enough atk/dmg), must have been thinking about haven  [altho opponent had tactics & luck -2 ring, damn]
