Here is the place where all Contests and Entries will be posted. The following procedure will be used for each round.
1.) I will post the Contests w/ their respective entries
2.) People will vote by posting. ("I vote for Person A in Contest X") This is to prevent people from voting with alias accounts. The voting period will last 24/36 hours
3.) Each player may run a campaign during the voting period by pointing out weaknesses in other entries, asking people to vote for them, and donating threads to other players in exchange for their vote.
4.) Votes can be changed so long as they are not changed after the voting period has ended.

As RSF said in the first post of the MYT-TR thread, I talked him into starting another run of MYT. This is the biggest possible improvement to the game which was inactive for so long and thus I should win this contest by default.
Now, since the voters likely won't make claiming this thread that easy for me, here's a proposal I've been considering:
Have you noticed how modern computer games tend to have lists of achievements? Even Spore has a huge list, many of them secret. What I suggest is having something similar in Mark Your Territory. Some people may eventually get bored with simply claiming and fighting over threads (crazy, I know, but it could happen). Now, deep inside, every one of us is a completist to a certain degree. Everyone likes to have done something More, with a capital M.
What is more, not all Achievements have to be about positive things. We might as well have some negative ones, which, seeing how RSF is in charge, would likely be called 'Pistachios'. Eventually we could even have graphical representations of each, so that people can brag about their MYT doings on their Personal Pages or in their
signatures.
As an example of this idea's awesomeness I'd like to present you a selection of sample Achievements:
Stalker
Challenge the same player 5 times in a row.
Serious Business
Own at least 5 threads, all of them 10 pages or longer.
Conqueror
Win 10 challenges.
Bartender of the Rising Sun
Own all claimed Tavern threads.
Cosmopolitan
Own at least one thread from each subforum.
Connoisseur
Own only QP threads.
Pushover
Lose all your threads in challenges.
Waste Collector
Own at least 5 RSF threads.
What is more, in addition to the Achievements, we could run statistics such as:
Top 10 winning streaks
Top 10 losing streaks
Most threads owned
Most contests won
Most contests lost
As you can see, we can make this game even awesomer, as long as we can get RSF to do all the extra bookkeeping.

one of the best way to improve it is to make it mine.I will surely take care of it and not let any1 take it from me.Would certainly introduce more people to this awesome thread and MAKE them play it too,but under my command(mwhahaha)=kidding.It can be improved by having people who want to participate in it do a lot of hard things that take little time,that ANYBODY can do.Like asking such a good question like the 1 i have been asked,what a great question).
Celfious:
Give voters cherries for voting, and every 10 cherries gives a player +20% to his votes when he wishes to use it. When the 10 are used it goes down by 10. We can use more than 10 cherries at a time (in incrimints of 10) but the percentage is halfed for each ten used. IE 20% + 10% + 5% + 2.5% for 40 cherries used equaling +37.5% votes
This could be Cherries or Red Sox in my opinion.

I vote for Woock in the first one. His wasn't necessarily good, but as I didn't really understand what Nikita was getting at and Celf's suggestion seemed pointless to me (all that work for 1.375 vote instead of 1? Methinks not...), Woock has to be my guy here, unfortunately.
As for the second contest, I believe I shall vote for RSF's entry. Granted, it's not a very flattering photo, to say the least, but what can be discerned of her real face seems cute enough, and the sense of humour and lack of too much self-importance posing for such a photo demands, leads me to conclude that this woman must be a sexy keeper. (Sexy isn't all about the body, you know, kids. )

I vote for Woock. I didn't understand Nikita's suggestion at all, and Celf's seems pointless. I mean, you'll not even have the effect of 2 votes even with a lot of those cherries, so what's the point then? ____________
Sorry, MightyMage, I'd love to see you win this contest, I really would, but that simply is not a winner's entry. I had a shortlived dilemma between Baklava's and RSF's entries. Then I checked the exact rules of this particular contest and decided that not being able to look at RSF's entry for longer than a couple seconds should probably score some points for the opposing party.
So I vote for Baklava. Thumbs up for RSF though, for trying something... um, different.

Which is not why I quite, I quit because theres too many rules and truthfully I am a little ****ed at such negative criticism from asheera.. But I dont like all the rules that's the main thing.

What's to take lightly? I wasn't negative at all. Your idea seemed pretty pointless to me (that's my opinion, no offense... seriously, it's not like it's something personal - heck, I didn't come up with something myself, so I would 'disagree' with me even more), but after your post I figured out that with the numbers changed it will be a neat idea. That's why I changed my vote.

Yea it would be kind of neat to get points from something we can use.. I mean, we vote 2+ times per contest release so why not get something useable out of voting. I changed it like 3 times already and it's to late to change it again but I'm sure RSF could change it however he wants.
