I had not seen the elves before this either. Does anyone have a picture of what they look like on the battlefield? I always thought the hmm3 grand elves looked a little spartan to be elves, the green goes much better with them. No self-respecting elf would wear that silver get-up they had.

Except for the shoes she looks like a regular human being so it needs to be more clear that she is an elf. Like her ears sticking out or a more elven look to her face.

HOMM 2 is wut got me into the series, and so the "new" vampire look, which is very similar to the HOMM2 vampire, is wut I'd hafta prefer over the Nosferatu thingies.
As for saying they look more modern... don't u know that that's the traditional vampire look, portrayed in the media? O well... why's everyone making such a big deal about vampires and how they look anyway? Sheesh.
And as for the elves, I'd agree with the pointy-ear idea... perhaps a blonde look?
