Yeah! "Nu pogody" (which ,BTW, means "Just you wait") RULEZ! It's the Russian "Tom and Jerry"! It's better, but has much fever chapters though.
I haven't seen that cartoon in ages...
I Would really enjoy seeing it again.

My all time fav - Simpsons. And Futurama. Havent watched Southpark yet. I know I have to.
When I was a kid - Ninja Turtles.
PS: I know "Nu pogodi" too. 
PPS: Does anyone from the ex-Soviets happen to remember the cartoon with the cute brown bear ("Meche Ushko" I think), a doll model actually? That one ruled too.

I like a lot of old russian cartoons (I am from Russia, but now live in Germany)
Nu pogody is classic! But donīt forget Winnie Puh, Bremensckie mysicanti!

Right now I like South Park and Family Guy, but for nostalgia purposes I sometimes watch 'em old Soviet cartoons.
My favorite is Bremenskii Muzikanti, which I see as a metaphor of the 60's. Nu Pogodi is also good, as is Vinni Pooh (beats the Disney one any day, that's for sure.)

wow, i didn't know that Nu Pogodi is popular outside the former USSR countries! i have seen those cartoons at least 100 times i guess!
i think about 10 years ago (or even more) they made a couple of new chapters, but i didn't like them. the original ones are funnier.

I think Winnie the Pooh makes little children want to kill themselves. Characters are always depressive and sad, especially that little piggy (piglit was it). That one needs a good kick in the a**. And that bear poo also, he talks like an oldman after having a heart attack. I hated the film. Never got to watch a single one to the end. Winnie the Poo. Poo indeed.

Dunno which pooh you are talking about. The Soviet one is uber cool. The main character is rude, selfish, lazy... A perfect role model. And then there is the nerdy rabbit (ha. geeks) and the depressed donkey (damn goth) and piglet is like the little kid following pooh around.
And the songs are the best.
