Let me first say, that I'm generally very pleased with the perks this round has brought, although it's a bit sad, that we don't have more entries. I will give detailed feedback, and even though feedback may sound a bit harsh here and there, ratings will be high, since the general level seems to be much higher than with the skills before.

Ratings Round 32

Esquire
The perk effectively not only doubles the hero attack, but allows to cast Benediction and Retaliation Strike (with the latter usually not cast). The effect of the perk seems to be perfectly balanced - Divine Guidance was safely avoided (which might have been a tad too strong ; The racial prerequisites are a no-brainer AND take care of the perk a main hero will not use because of him or her more often than not being absent from home and physically unable to use it (not to mention the difficulties to get the dwellings built on highest difficulty and/or low resource maps.
I just wonder about the other prerequisites. Since Divine Guidance was indeed too strong to double, it's obviously there because of Empathy. While I understand the necessity of having Basic Leadership and Recruitment, I think I'd be much more happy with Expert Enlightenment and Mentoring as Prereqs... I'll express my doubt with a deduction of 1 point each in both categories.
CREATIVITY/ORIGINALITY: 9
BALANCE/REALISM: 9

Crusade
I agree with the basic theme of the perk and the name - Crusade sounds good and seems a fine motive, and you can see people rallying behind your flag, but of course there are a couple of snags I spot. The basic meachanism, to COLLECT "crusade points" for a week, which will be lost, if not spent, seems well conceived, although on first look very complex. In the end it's a fitting variation of the Dark Energy theme in a smaller environment. However, I don't think that Griffins should be in, and maybe it would be better to limit the possible joiners to Vindicators and Zealots?
Moreover, I would have liked a suggestion of how battles would bring in points and how many would be necessary for a joiner.
Lastly I agree with the prereqs - that this perk should be used for Expert Trainer with Last Stand isn't necessary and shouldn't be done: you can't take Last Stand with this perk.
So here I deduct points for missing realism in the mechanism part.
CREATIVITY/ORIGINALITY: 10
BALANCE/REALISM: 7

Fauch

Bless From Elrath
That's a beautiful perk. I love the protection from instant death effect, and the other effects are well balanced as well. The only snag is, that I feel, due to the quaality of the perk und the guarding effect against instant death abilities/effects prereqs should be a skill steeper. Luck with Magic Resistance would be in order, for example. Defense and Last Stand would be perfect - except that Protection couldn't be picked in that case.
CREATIVITY/ORIGINALITY: 10
BALANCE/REALISM: 8

It seems no one has such an interest. Anyway, since no second rating is there, a bigger time span during my holiday seems in order-

Round 33

Create ONE advanced (4th) perk for the Racial skill of Inferno.
Conditions for creation:
1) The perk must have at least ONE racial perk as a prerequiste, (reminder: racial skill perks of Haven are: Mark of the Damned, Consume Corpse, Hellfire, but at most TWO since the advanced racial perk would replace one of the 3 known racial perks.
2) The perk must have at least ONE perk of a general skill as prerequisite;
3) There is no limit for the number of perks needed as a prerequisite, but no more than TWO different general SKILLS are allowed as prereqs in the process.

Example: A perk needing Retaliation Strike, Cold Steel and Hellwrath would be wrong, since Cold Steel needs Attack and Destructive, while Hellwrath needs Defense, so the perk had THREE general Skills involved as prereqs.

Deadline is Saturday, June 19th.

Unholy Maelstrom
Prerequisites: Advanced Sorcery, Magic Insight, Arcane Brilliance, Hellfire

The Demon Lord may spend 0.5 ATB to mark a 4x4 area on the battlefield with an Unholy Maelstrom [depicted as a 4x4 gate marker, slowly rotating]. All friendly spells (hero or creature) cast and friendly hellfire triggered within the Unholy Maelstrom have an additional 3+1/4th the Demon Lord's level (rounded down) to their effective spellpower. The Unholy Maelstrom lasts for the duration of combat or until the hero uses the ability again.

Note:
-The Unholy Maelstrom will cover up corpses
-As with Blade Barrier, you cannot partially place the Unholy Maelstrom outside the battlefield.
-For area spells, the spellpower is only increased for the tiles within the Unholy Maelstrom.

Power Drain
Requires Consume corpse, Sorcery basic, Soulfire, Destruction advanced, Master of fire, Searing fire.

This ability improves Consume corpse. when you use it, your hero will also gain +1 Spellpower per 150 HPs consumed (so 1 spellpower for each 5 mana points earned)

It is cumulative each time you use Consume corpse (If you 1st destroy 300 HPs and then 450, you will gain 2 + 3 = 5 spellpower)

The bonus lasts until the end of the battle, and affects not only hero spells, but also Hellfire of course.

Soulfire is also improved, the spellpower used for the fireball is increased by 1 per each 150 HPs destroyed

if you destroy an upgraded stack of 300 HPs, the spellpower used for the fireball will be 2 (for upraded stack) + 2 (for the 300 HPs) = 4

This is not cumulative, so if you destroy a 2nd upgraded stack of 300 HPs, the spellpower for the fireball will be 4 again, and not 6.
