Disciples 2
I was surfing the net when Disciples 2 came to me...and after reading some reviews they say that is good...But in my country(greece) disciples is unheard...so I want your opinion guys...
Have you played Disciples 2?!?Is it good?!?

I played the first part and second part's demo. Disciples is a very good alternative for Homm series and is slitghly harder then heroes, it requires more tactical thinking and so. It may look very complicated at firs but its a good game. Definetely worth getting it.

I played it a lot.At first some things seemed wierd ( like Capital Guardians),but it got used to it quickly.I even made my own quests after completing most of the original ones.Try it,I say it's great.

i got disciples 2, and the expansion, rise of the elves.
Well the game itself, is pretty cool, because you can upgrade your units so many times, you just got to have the necessary exp, for it, once you've built the required building.
The part that i like, is the different kind of heroes, caster, melee kinda, and thief, oh and a ranged hero.
And your town has a protector^^ a very strong unit, which cant be taken out of the city, but stays there.
Also, leadership is a must have ability and remember to take all the leadership skills you can, because 1 leadership = 1 unit on the hero
There is no stacks, so we dont have to worry about that, like in kings bounty.
Tho, the game has a backside, at least for me 
It gets easily boring xD
When i got the elf expansion, and with that, the new elf town, the game became funnier, and i played it more often.
I havent played it for some time now, since H3 is ALOT better IMO
But its definitely a nice game, and i think you should try it out

I played Disciples 2 and watched my friends playing it a lot.To me it look too dark and after an hour of play i want to save and never play again.But as was said its like Heroes,u buy some creatures in beginning,then go out and fight and get xp for thei upgrade.THe game is even more fun in hot seat.

well its gothic fantasy anyway. its supposed to be dark. Though i enjoy gothic fantasy/sci-fi games or literature more than regural sci-fi/fantasy

Of course, its a good alternative to Homm, i agree, but still....
I can get bored of Disciples 2, on 6-7 hours or such.
With Homm3, I can play the game for weeks, maybe months without getting bored of it 
The combats in Disciples 2 and Homm3, is nearly the same, tho i like Homm3 fighting more.
In Disciples, the battlefield is very small, and you can only hit the nearest units. Saying that, the enemy can have a ranged unit, behind some tough guys, so you have to fight your way to the ranged unit.
Unless you got another ranged unit that can attack the enemy ranged unit.
Well i guess you all know the Homm3 fights^^
At least for me, its really rarely to see the enemy, standing around their shooting unit, to protect it.
Still Disciples can be a nice alternative to Homm, but i prefer Homm more
