Web-based mmos dont count. You cant buy them and therefor they are not real games.
I took Lineage 2 numbers from Wikipedia.
And in a recent report I read on a site called wowinsider.com it said that WoW covers aro8nd 60% of the MMORPG market.

WoW's lifetime is aproximately 8-10 years. And yeah, the Sims is the most played game(played it, hate it)

I didn't really like it either, felt like babysitting... 
The next game promises smarter Sims that can actually live without you feeding them, helping them find a toilet etc... but if you want anything interesting to happen to them you'll have to do it yourself.
I doubt I'll like it anyway. But anyway, it's kinda nice to see games that attract both genders.

That's because girls are too squeamish to use cracks thinking they may get infected with a virus from the computer, so they go and buy the game.

Why we hate WOW and games like that?
Well, me and my friends have the same feeling about wow players!
Geeky little nerds with abseloutely no life at all, spending theire entire sparetime playing wow, eating, getting fat, getting theire face full of zits..
Back at the days where i was in school (1,5 years ago) we always bullied the nerds, and made theire life even more "My only way to survive is in world of snowcraft"... I'm telling ya, the only thing they talked about was theire character in warcraft.. And that makes me sick to hear about... But hey, the system is builded that way!
Every school needs popular's, mediums, and bottoms.
A world where everyone is equal, is a world of imagination..
You should have seen my friends faces when i told them i was playing Heroes 1 to 5 :S I owed them 5 rounds of beers at least... (And i still owe them 2 rounds)
But to be honest, i don't really play computer (only when i'm bored as hell.).. I play a lot of Magic The Gathering as the only geeky thing..
And that is why we don't like warcraft! You lose the important stuff in your life! And that is ofcourse "your life"

Alright, I may not like WoW or the WoW discussion my friends at school had, but seriously...bullying the nerds just because they are nerds? That's not fair. I've done my fair share of bullying, but never because they were a nerd or a geek or something, mainly because I just didn't like the person and they didn't like me. lol

I have absolutely no problem with geeks seeing as I'm one myself. Nor with nerds. However when nerds and non-nerds get addicted over a stupid game, yes I have a problem. Mind you, if you think talking about WoW characters makes you a nerd, what about talking about programming?

Yes I read it, those that bully always say that they're doing it just for the heck of it, but deep inside they do it because they are envious... most of the time anyway.

Not just because they where nerds, or maybe it's only because of that! I think i did it because everyone did it.. Sriously the nerds always hang out in the computer room, where everyone else where playing football, jumping (pig pillow trampolin look-a-like), and stuff like that!.. But ofcourse it's more natural to bully someone you hate, but can't you hate geeks? Like some people hate imigrants, and others hate kristians/muslims ?
And would you all relax a little bit! It's just me and my nature, there is no reason for take my thread to discuttion? Or is there? This is a community ;p

believe me, private reals suck. Esspecially Sangreal-Orion(Lithuania and Poland only) and Rivera(Russia)
I was a moderator at Sangreal. There wasn't a single day that some noobs whined being polymorphed or ganked(some retard even took my nickname and ganked alliance, god was i mad then). In Rivera you got to pay 10$ for three months to play if you have a lvl 30+ char(my highest lvl chars in there were 27lvk dwarf rogue and 29lvl human warlock). Another issue is skill/talent and drop bugs. Dunno about you but i get pissed when a 35+ lvl mobs drop lvl50+ epics. In WoW-Vecro(Lithuania) mobs around various instances dropped their loot(e.g. mobs around RFD dropped RFD loo). Some other bugs from Vecro server:
1. Wearing a [White linen shirt] would grant you 15-30k armor
2. Instances were completely empty(except for several loot chests)
3. Onyxia wandered in Burning steppes and had ~2k HP (O.O)
4. There were several rare mobs(like Vultros)
5. You can level up with rested bonus after spending five minutes(got my druid from lvl 10 to level 53 by it)
6. While rested elite and rare mobs grant x4 more xp
7. BG items required no reputation to wield
8. Traveling to kalimdor from eastern kingdoms and vice-versa was imposible for alliance players.
The only better private realm was a swedish one(forgot the name) about 350 players, great admins, less bugs than in sangreal, and above all great community.
