The save games are actually small (the last one was less than 400 kb), so it's not a problem even with dial-up.
Don't try to play H5 by mail though.

Undortunately, I'm verry busy with school lately. I even write all types of papers in front of the PC, so don't ask me what am I doing in front of the computer. It's really important, this grade will affect my life, so if somebody wants my place, I give it. Also, I hibernate WoG Questions and give CCVI to Skele. I'm leaving HC untill july  .

Now, the town has Marketplace. Calid owned the Ore Pit, and Zydar learned Basic Air Magic from the Witch Hut. Then, he foughts with 15 Vampire Lords.
He wins some treasures, but the price was one Pit Fiend.

When I loaded the save, I was still in the middle of Skeleton_King's turn. Zydar hadn't fought the vampire lords yet.
Maybe you uploaded the wrong save?

Day 6
While the roles should have been divided differently, it was the hero with the smallest army that came upon the discoveries of roving bands of gogs. Cuthbert did not attack, but wandered through the surrounding forest for a while, afraid that he might be spotted. After all, he cannot possibly win with merely one pikeman.
Orrin on the other hand was moody again as his day brought him nothing but learning stones and treasure chests. He wanted battle, slaughter, not this kind of fisherman's strawl! Where were the enemies? He calmed down a little when he felt the hand of his trusted commander on his shoulder.

Day 6
The hag was peevish when Tazar entered her hut - she knew she couldn't trick him now. On the other hand, the beastmaster seemed displeased himself (although he had just learned Basic Offence). Truth be told, his visit to the local witch was all he had accomplished that day.
The first week of the adventure was almost over, and he felt he had had a slow start. "I should have never got off the road", he grumbled. But then again, his Attack was zero, and he knew he had to. Perhaps he was simply anxious to leave these marshes and get on with the quest.
On the other side of the world, Malekith wished he had had a Serpent Fly instead of this sluggish Gnoll... "One mistake more", he thought. The warlock did manage to claim an undefended Gold Mine though. He even spotted a quiver with Angel Feather Arrows lying on the shore (shipwreck perhaps?). "Tazar won't need these", he thought, "But I bet Orrin would love it!"
Sadly, it seemed Malekith's only chance was to wait for an enemy scout to come through those portals, attack him and then retreat with his treasure (if he's lucky)...

Day 7
As the sun had already settled behind the horizon, Orrin sat in his tent with his hands on his head. How awful this first week has been. He really wanted to find those Behemoths before anyone else, but with moods, delays and fools like Cuthbert this would not be realisable.
Somebody entered his tent. It was Mirko, his commander.
"What is it?" demanded Orrin.
"The camp is finished, my Lord."
"At least we accomplished one thing this week. The men now know how to build a camp for the night in less than two hours."
"Yes, my Lord. I'll be going once again."
Orrin sighed as he was left alone again. His mind was troubled. He grabbed a feather, a pot of ink, and a piece of parchment, and started to write down the happenings of this day.
"As there was nothing interesting left to do at the places I was searching, I ordered Cuthbert to go and look there. I expected him to come straight from the castle, but he seemed not to have followed my orders and he had explored some pieces of land on his own. One the plus side, he did arrive at the spot sooner than I expected. As soon as I left there DID seem to be something interesting there. A small army, too strong for Cuthbert ofcourse. When I was on my route to the castle, I smelled the stinch of an approaching Cuthbert. I bet he also forgot to wash himself. He told me about the possible enemies he encountered. I was furious. Out of anger I ordered Cuthbert to go into the One-Way Monolight, but now I regret that order. Perhaps I see him tomorrow before he goes in, so I can stop him... But on the other hand, where is he good for? What does he contribute to my quest? Ofcourse, supplies. His Estates skill does do me good... I've got to stop him from going in for sure."
He put away the feather and the ink, rolled up the parchment and fell asleep.

Day 7
During the most uneventful day so far, the two beastmasters were getting ready for the beginning of the next week. They planned to recruit another scout in Mossden and create a short chain on the road in order to transport the reinforcements. With a contingent of new troops Tazar was hoping to explore the northern moors without many losses.
Meanwhile, Malekith had discovered a Magic Shrine that taught him the Summon Boat spell. He was finally able to leave the desert island! In order to please the gods who had answered his prayers, the warlock decided to leave the Angel Feather Arrows on the shore, hoping that one of Orrin's scouts would pick them up...

Today, the Castle has Citadel. Zydar beated the sprites.
Then, he finds the paradise of Mercur, before squashes the Obsidian Gargoyles.
