Heroes 3 2009 Online Game Invitation
I have been a traveler in the Might and Magic relm since the dinosaur days of the Commodore 64. (That was an early personal computer for all you young people)
After searching endlessly through these threads and posts, I have decided to offer a specific thread to allow those interested in multiplayer gaming a spot to "meet" and invite each other to game together.
There are plenty of other threads that discuss "How do I...?" I ask that here you simply state your interest in joining or being a part of a Heroes 3 game online, when you are available to play (day of week and hours available), what sort of game you're looking for (partnership, rivalry, alignment, etc.) and have an email address or other method of contact. You can then arrange to chat or email with those of the same interest.
If this proves succesful, it will be expanded as seperate threads for other Might & Magic games that have the option of online gaming.
Let the Games Begin!

Partners/Opponents
To get this started, I am available from 7PM to 10PM EST today (1/21/09). Other future dates/times can be arranged by direct email arrangements and/or through MSN Messenger.
I am looking for a "friendly" game to reintroduce myself to HOMM 3. I usually play either Ranger or Wizard Characters and prefer to partner with someone against the AI rather to combat a live opponent, but "beggars cannot choose", so I will consider all reasonable offers to play.

gameranger.com looks like a good place to meet and play check it out i have not loaded a game yet but it may be an easy way to atleast get a start.

great news! are you playing h3 or h5? i have been searching for h3 players while i hone my skills on 5 (also i need patches for 5 it looks like and expansions) I really enjoy h3 though so maybe ill catch you on for a game!

Hi, well...a very popular place to meet is GameSpy, lots of players are on-line there daily, some very good, some really noobs.
Another place would be GameRanger, but less people around there as far as i saw.
Also by Yahoo/MSN messenger ID you can arrange some games from time to time; ICQ too...
Overall i think best method is via GameSpy, from there you can arrange a game to play via IP, hamachi, GameRanger or even GameSpy.
On the other hand there is a tournament on www.heroes-iii.com and other one on www.lrh.ro.
A simple search for players on any of those two sites will show you who is free to play once in a while. Better check the Rankings page of first site and write down how to get in touch with players that are active those days.
