OK, seems that many people are suffering this problem. The only thing I can say is: re-install HoMMV: ToTE and upgrade to 3.1 and don't add any other mods than Oblivion. Then you may add additional mods one by one and check if some of them are causing the issue. If you find out what it is, report here or in the buglist topic. TY.

I use the NCF Framework 3.1 from there:

and the NCF MegaPack from there:

and I use Oblivion mod

and all works as a charm.

also, I analysed files from Oblivion mod and all is good. no conflict with NCF

then All conflicts with NCF is caused by the user.

be sure, your mod is perfectly functionnal with NCF.

(only NCF 3rd upgrades inferno will become Oblivion creatures to the Hiilfort)

Hmm.. strange...

If i don't use any mods at all, my game can start normally ofcourse.

If i use NCF i can't use the standard launcher, but i can use NCF launcher.

If i only use oblivion i can play the standard with oblivion full working.

If i play with both NCF and oblivion the oblivion mod doesn't work correct (Same fail as i mentioned at the beginning) And i can't launch the standard launcher..

So i can't understand how you "Simonak" have no trouble?
I have tote 3,1. I have the newest framework, i do use megapack so i'm confused?

..mhh..

Always we're using NCF we must use « H5_Game.NCF.exe », --> Always <-- (except to make a RMG map)

so Oblivion works with this exe.

You could provide a screenshot that shows your troubles with Oblivion+NCF.

Don't use the NCF framework with Oblivion.  The mods are incompatible.  It's as simple as that and you can't expect Kainc to accomodate external work.

Oblivion and NCF are already perfectly compatible.

I created the NCF Framework 3.1 and the Megapack.
I analysed Oblivion files.
I used Oblivion and NCF in same time and in same map.

never the game crashed or bugs are appeared.



where both mods are not compatible on this screenshot?

Sorry.  I stand corrected.  Don't crucify me.  But there are incompatibilities with NCF components.  That's why I think it's fair to issue the (stupidly obvious) warning that a mod simply can't be expected to account for all others, and this isn't an exception.

If someone has a problem by using Oblivion and NCF in same time is because this person has not understood something.
then he has a chance to learn.

Following my analysis none of NCF components conflicts with Oblivion components.

Here is the screenshot where i play in NCF launcher.
The familiar shows up, and the war hound has the quasits abilities :S

Tier 2 is the only one working 100%, cuz every tier from 3 to 7 has inferno upgrades :S
---
But remove NCF, oblivion works fine, Or maybe there is another mod thats creating a failure

Oblivion creatures are not NCF, they just are using inferno creatures xdb by replacing their stats, ref, visual etc.

when you say "NCF launcher" what do you mean? you talk about "exe" ?

I'm sure the trouble is caused by another mod, did you modify your-self something about NCF, Mod,etc ?

I have the New Arena mod, and NCF mod, and NewBuildingsCost mod, and a necropower pack mod..

you must help me to help you

I need to know and see.

1 - provide screenshots showing troubles you're living.
2 - also write a text to explain what is exactly the troubles.
3 - provide too screenshots of your bin, data and UserMODs folders showing details files (size, date, format, etc)

you can give an upload link containing a zip of all these pictures and texts (speedshare)

then, I could see for the continuation of debugging.

Yes, its the exact same ability with a new name to fit the lore.

Edit: Made a quite long post with a review of the faction and what I thought about it but the forum ate it... I'll write down a new one soon enough.

Well, i think it's fun to play with your town kainc, but it's difficult to choose between inferno and oblivion, cuz i like to play as demons or necromancers..
But it is a great town-swap mod with alot of great details.

So the negatives:
The landscape and lava looks not good at all in blue..
The UNI creature section can't be gated..
The Tier 1's are too boring and simple..

The possitives:
The Towns Look and colours is fantastic and the same is true for the creatures colours (Exept tier 1's)
The tier 6 looks and works incredible! I really think that is by far the best creature mod i've seen in a looong time! (I do hate the pink one though! It looks like a GMOD model without a texture)

Greats:
I remember i was not happy about the flags on the hero models! But when i played oblivion, i did find the flags awesome!

Thanks DG, it's nice to get some feedback. I also appreciate that you are honest and list negative things as well.

It's really sad that I had to finish this mod with such a haste. I'm not too happy with tier 1 myself, but then again, they were my first modding object ever (well, the very first was a minelayer gargoyle named as Blaze Gargoyle. It was never published). Personally I like the marble landscape and "void-lava". The gating / seizure works only with creatures that are present in "the real world" (excluding Infernal scape and Oblivion). So it only works with actual animals.
