Time portal

I have an idea of a time portal. This would mean that if you were playing a game and there would be a time portal near and you would enter it would take you beck in time to some of the scenarios in HommI and II. Not all scenarios would be included, just some. For example: From HommII: Good vs. Evil, Overlord etc. It would be neat to play the old games again. If you would play with a town that was not in those versions you would just have the hero and his army. You of course could go back through the time portal and get army.

Tell me what you think of this idea.

it could work and its not a bad idea for a level. Like a sandro going back and changing when things started to go wrong. But i dont want to see much of it hopefully only once in the game. To often and its just being lazy and who wants to play the same lvl again often anyways

Cool!

Yeah, thats cool, a time portal could be defined in the editor how much days will it go back and when it goes back it's like loading the game to this time, everything changes exactly back as it was at the end of that day, except for the portal which will disappear.

Offense?!

What you don't like this idea? Well too bad! I know many people who would like it! Not that is bad, I am just saying that you could keep it to your self or just used some moderate words.

Sure

It's a pretty inventive idea (mystery's interpretation of the time portal) to say the least and yeah it could be interesting on certain maps but not every map.
I think it would be a great option to have as it would make scenarios more interesting but in context of course. ie you don't want to have one of these things move you back to week one after u've done 2months in a multiplay.
But one or a couple of days would be interesting.
By all means include it but it would be up to the map makers to effectively use it.

Again...

You are right Rage. You could go back in time and save Lord Haart. Or you could keep the barbarians on the evil side and so on.

Another thing is that you could bring heroes from the past back. Like for example Kyre from Warlocks, Atlas from Barbarians and Sir Gallahad from Knights.

well i think it is a pretty cool idea but i think u should only include it in the campains because if it is in scenerios it would suck
