Just a short note!
Everyone should make more than one town AS FAR AS they will be completed. Heryby, it can be prevented, that good ideas may be locked up in a half-finished entry...
I know, that ICTC is the soul of HC (I just remembered, when I was working on my town a year ago! ) and I would love to see every town finished all in their beauties!

I would have come up with at least three entries - if I wouldn't been totally consumed by my real life these times. I'm not even sure I can finish my begun entries

I`ve been thinking of entering with one of my factions from Harmony Town competition - that means, of course, that I have to expand and complete them.
We`ll see what future brings.
Edit: Oh, one question: am I allowed to enter a faction with the same name as one of the contestant`s faction? I`m talking about The Hive.

ICTC 4?
Some time has passed since I've casted I glance into the HC last. Now I detect this "new" ICTC4 contest and must realise that the deadline is already passed.
But what is happening? Nothing.
Well, I participated in the last ICTC and I still know how much commotion it caused, everybody being excited and so on.
But this time? No such thing.
Even the contest's entries aren't really finished in the majority and cannot stand comparison to the one's of the third ICTC regarding quantity and quality.
Why is this so? Has HC changed so much over the course of the last year? Where are Daystar, GenieLord, Cepheus, Golemcrafter, Fauch, Xerox, as I remember them as competitor's with great entries form the last ICTC? Could somebody tell me, please?

Homm5 is aging and h6 is still not announced. After Homm5 came out a whole new surge of interest came but over the past few years, homm5 lost its novelty and people left.

Also, you have to look at the time of year. Some of the participants still have to go to school/college, or may be otherwise tied up in other RL things.
Or, like me, they could've just gotten bored and stopped halfway through the competition.

Also, there have been Faction creation competitions all over the year, from May to just before ICTC. I guess HC's creation talent had been milked completely by the time ICTC4 came.

Meh... faction creation is old and boring. And HoMM is dead in my life at the moment. Im not in these forums because of HoMM anymore.

...for me, it's nearly completely rl that drove me away from faction creating...not that I wouldn'T have had some titme to spare, but I got more important thigns on mind...but I guess it's alos important that this ICTC isn't so special, beacause there have been several contests on faction creation, indeed...
