You mean you didn't cancel the placed event after the first visit? That can be abused if the hero is strong enough - to get unlimited exp... We'll see how it works during the playtesting.

Then mamga and vancho1 can quickly edit their parts... And that's it! Cepheus will add the story and I will try to wrap it all up. Finally, we'll all test the map before submitting it online.

*stands up* I OBJECT!!!11oneeleven1!!!

i think we should make one more turn. a real rpg map should have the underground as big as the groundto make it more fantastic, complex, making an underground city would be quite interesting. *sees that everybody is looking at him* well...ofcourse that's just my opinion, my suggestion etc ^_^ *sits down* *lifta up his finger* and the forest with the volcano isn't finished either!

Yeah, if it gets too bad we could just increase the money you loose after the battle... Or just reduce their amount so much that it wouldn't do very much difference to anyone's experience.

There's a stack of War Zealots at 55/64, but I guess that doesn't matter very much...

We still need to find out what the goal of the map will be, and fix the Tranquil Forest. Someone (elaf?) added a hero named 'Bolastruchas' in the underground, and with a little changing, killing her could be the main goal.

Your enthusiasm is good, as well as your idea... but I'm afraid another turn is not realistic. We have already lost some people along the way, others started fighting , and finally - "a work of art is never finished, merely abandoned"... So there's no point in dragging on this forever. Everybody is welcome to vote, but as the master of the universe project coordinator, I'd suggest we finish it now. Hopefully the work on this map will inspire some of you young and promising mapmakers to create more scenarios so that WoG will live on.

By the way, funny thing you mention that "a real RPG map should have the underground as big as the ground"... While I agree with you, the author of the game, JVC, thought that fans abused the editor and preferred small caves and tunnels... To each their own, I guess.

I was thinking something about going to the Holy Land (actually the opposite corner of the map ) and getting the Grail... But yeah, we should set a nice final boss... As for the actual story - frankly, I have no idea what Cepheus has come up with.

Concerning the hero ability, the concept is nice, but the buff is too big, isn't it ?
Maybe he could summon monks or even a weaker creature instead of angels. This way the ability would change more than if it was angels (e.g. 1 more angle summoned each 5 levels means 4 levels won't do anything, 1 more zealot each level seems better to me ).

I just noticed that I've made the monster and prison around 62/27 unreachable Could the next mapmaker (Kesnar?) be so kind and move one of the grass hills which are blocking the way to tehm ?

I was thinking of Monks first, but it didn't seem logical: where do they come from? Angels could be sent down by a divine power or something... Although I can already hear Cepheus nagging they are androids created by the Ancients or whatever....

As for the balance, it's a question of opponents really... OK, we'll see how it works and nerf it later.

No, that unreachable prison will stay there forever as the proof that you are not perfect.

Anyway, am I the only one who have an old version of the map ? I downloaded it from the last link but I just have the marisa's update, not much.

I agree with DJ too, the Trukey isn't finished at all, we need more people working on non filled map parts.

Hmm... neither do I.

j/k I'm on it, won't implement it until you're all ready though.  Depending on map layout I will need to change a few things. (I originally wrote a "chapter" about a large battle for a city within a vast desert, but there won't be a desert in the first place, now will there? )

All you need to know is that the map's main goal is to defeat a Witch hero named Qessixa.

Ednaguy has already set those creatures with ERM... Perhaps you could make some more in your area? It doesn't have to be creatures, maybe a Tavern or whatever...

The script could be something very simple like:

I put a rebelion-like thing against the conflux(Constantinopole-Instabul-Byzantium-Whatever)...

That was quick... "Freedom and equality" are "basic morals of Christianity"? LOL Not sure there's Christianity in H3 though...

OK, that's the end of round two. Here's hoping it won't take Mamgaeater and Vancho1 more than a couple of days to edit their parts?! Please do it by Wednesday evening, because on Thursday I will check the thread for any updates and start working on whatever is the latest version available. I'll create something we'll call v. 0.8 - a finished map that needs testing.
