I didn't change any object animation into other. I changed the passability of some objects but i dunno what exactly u mean by saying 'removing it first'.

Sure we can wait a day or two more - the deadline is just a reminder for those who are not active or responsible. You did post your work after all...

As it was said in another thread, backups are a must. Create the landscape first, save that version, then include other features, save the file again but under a different name, then customize objects... etc. That way you can always load the previous version if something goes wrong. When working on an XL map, I usually mail myself different versions so that I still have them if my computer drops dead. I also burn the files on a DVD and bury it in my basement in case of a nuclear attack.

Seriously though, I'm looking forward to your map... Give it one more try please!

As I wrote several times in other threads, DO NOT change the passability without removing the object FIRST.

Sergroj object.exe steps:

1) Place the object in desired location.
2) Copy the object
3) Paste the object in Sergroj editor
5) Remove your object from map (very important)
6) Now change the passability to the pasted object in Sergroj BOX
7) Paste the modified object into your map and put it in same location.

If you change the passability without removing the object, the program will NOT warn you about the object not being able to keep its current location with the new passability and you can save, but you will not be able anymore to open that map.

Believe me, I do this thousand times/day.

It's done, finally! thanks everyone for waiting and for help.
Here is the map.

I made a forest with many slots for quests. That's why i made this so we can all put our ideas of quests in the forest and to solve a puzzle or something like that. the result will be part of the requirement (to win the map) or even the requirement it self .


The lava-thingy in the upper right corner is supposed to be a volcano with a cave in it.

The 3 quest guards are like this:
The quest guard in South-West is for the Westling Isle:

The other 2 quest guards are for Frank's Farm:


oh and by the way. i wanted to make a road through the forest. when u have a crossing you have to choose only one way and not going back and go through the other way too. i know that this can be made with erm but i don't have knowledges for this scripting language. it would be nice to make something like this

i hope u understand what i wanted to say.

Yeah, it's easy - if the player enters one object, just disable the other(s). I'll do it, no problem.

EDIT: I'll have to ask you one more thing: please pack all the files you downloaded (pics and READ ME) for the next mapmaker.

And Paulemile is next! Let's see what you can come up with. Again, please play the map to get the general idea and test your part before uploading. The deadline is one week.

Latest Version of map.

Edit: i tested the map and i have few notes:
-i didn't have a commander and i couldn't ire any from town. i don't know if i checked the commander option or not.
-The Green Keymaster's Tent is somehow unreachable. Though i checked the map in mapeditor and i saw no problems.
-the 2nd week was the week of pikemen. The map got full of pikeman population. The more annoying thing was that none of the pikeman functioned.

When the week passed and became the week of pegasus, lizardman, trglodytes etc everything was normal, but the pikemen were still broke T_T.
-if someone can correct 2 words in the Completion Message of the Centaur quest: 'tresure' and 'ithrough'.
-there is another type mistake in another quest but i forgot to note it.

I noticed a bug when i try to reach the Gold pile at 31/25/0. You have to face some Fortress troops, then win the fight and an error message appears (exception trace details and zounds of numbers )
Can't even click on the okay button, I have to back to windows and close the game with the programs manager...

I'll try to go further without the gold

the small peninsula that resembles a 3 clawed hand.

dracolich on one of the claws...
has a decapitated necromancer near the entrance.(the statue's body was cut off by a mountain)
near the center of the map.

Yeah, it happens with all the customized creatures on the adventure map (those that are just decoration).

The week (or the month) of the Hobgoblin has passed, so lots of groups are spread all around the world. But I simply can't reach them, because their passability is like an empty square. I can walk through the monsters, nothing more, they are part of the ground

All of the spawned monsters work fine though. Quite weird.

this wasn't a customized creature. it appeared because it was week of pikeman. o,O

NOTE: the magma elemental must have 'savage - will never join hero' because when i tested the map they joined me and i was like ubber leet haxxo0rz double pwner&owner all over *day dreaming*

Well, as I said before I may have a dirty WoG version (acid dragon's patch badly installed, game copy-pasted from another computer...).

What I meant is one stack of Pikemen was customized somewhere on the adventure map, and all the Pikemen that spawn later will be the same way. The same goes for all the creatures we customized with the object editor: Monks, Hobgoblins, Pixies etc. Take a look at the "town" area Kesnar made...
