Haha yeah... a certain my-poor-Vega thread comes to mind ^^
Blazblue is actually fairly balanced. Sure there are tiers, but there aren't ABYSSAL RIFTS between the tiers.
Also, it manages to balance a cast that is INSANELY unique from each other.
Also the music. Oh god the music.

He is not referring to me my dear friend, as my post doesn't have "great character balance" phrase, as I didn't write it especially. But he refers to you video about Blazblue, at the beginning of which the commentor says "great character balance" about Blazblue.

No actually I'm pretty sure Elvin was talking about Street Fighter, don't think Elvin has any experience with Blazblue.
Was only mentioning the Vega thread because Street Fighter 4's apparently awesome balance was mentioned in the video as well.

I haven't prepared the video, and the commentors haven't written my Vega tread. So my tread is irrelevant

I have never heard of Blazblue. And it seems interesting. But as I should quote from Wiki "There are currently no plans to officially release the game on PC"

Which is exactly why I referenced your Vega thread, since it's a proof of there obviously being balance problems.
Of course, the video was made before many of the patches came out, but seemingly the situation hasn't changed much.
Blazblue is an amazing game, but yeah, no pc version in sight. Their previous game, Guilty Gear, is on PC though. I very much recommend it.
It's an older version but still my favourite fighting game.
No online gaming in that version though.

Well, of course the situation is not as bad as it was in vanilla. But now Yun and Yang came, who obviously are created by someone who was at that time on mushroom. Hopefully, they are releasing a new patch called "2012 version" for free, which seems to close the balance gaps even more.
I have seen BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger was released for PC. How is that? And does it have online play? Cause fighting games are the worst when played against AI.

Yeah, Blazblue has a very good online architecture, from what I've read at least.
I'd totally buy the expanded version - Continuum Shift -, if it was released on PC... I hate not being able to download DLC characters for my 360 (no connection for it)...
I don't mind fighting AI actually. I still have fun.

Well... king of awesome game music and creator of Guilty Gear, Daisuke Ishiwatari, says "I have the full intention to create Guilty Gear for PS3 and 360.”
The ownership of the franchise ended up in others' hands sometime after Guilty Gear X2 #Reload, but it's back in ArkSys' hands now so... I'm looking forward to a new one 
Yeah Bridget is cool, nothing like a crossdressing jojo-wielding teddybear-swinging nun.
One of the best moments of Guilty Gear is Johnny seeing Bridget for the first time and he's like "ah sweet, another loli to add to my airship" and like, hits on him, and then he becomes depressed after finding out his real gender.
Oh god what have I done?

Yeah, so priceless. 
It was really good how they implemented it into the game itself that Johnny just stops in the middle of the match.
Bridget Ending #2 becomes so much more interesting after knowing that fact.

Mortal Kombat and Tekken for me. Street Fighter, Virtua Fighter is just meeh IMO.
Btw. Killer Instinct anyone? I've never played it, but looked good in the days 
The game was like a mix with attack sets from Street Fighter and the finisher moves from MK. Plus a bunch of own unique features like DOuble energy bar and automatic combos.

I like how these bots prevent me from getting negative posts due to several posts in a row while I talk to myself about fighting games.
Anyway, Blazblue: Continuum Shift Extend will include the storymodes from the previous versions, which means you're basically not missing out on anything by buying just that one. Awesome.
It will expand on the already epicest (yes) fighting game out there, so buy it.
Been playing a bit of the original lately due to getting tired of Skyrim and Arkham City refusing to show up in my mailbox... still a great game. Can dish out about 40% damage with Noel without using Heat hehe... she's more complicated than she appears.
