I'll take this one

The absolute eye-opener for me was the response to my Moose and Men thread.  It was my first attempt at writing creative nonfiction and the audience response was more or less overwhelming.  Really, I had no idea.

My next question goes to...Vlaad!

Vlaad, assuming I get all my ducks in a row, are we still on?

Sure. Like I told you, I've got other stuff going on - so it's up to you. Ready when you are.

And I'm not playing. This game is not supposed to be about avatars and movies. LOL

I'll give you a 9.8 and let you figure out what that actually means

My Q is for Pandora

Kookie - is some day a good enough answer? lol realistically for me to get out your way, I'd likely need to have my kids out on their own - because playing pillowfights with you while minding my kids seems like it would distract from a lot of the potential fun

However - if you were to come out this way - things could work out just fine

I hope we can find a way some time!

My question goes to PhoenixReborn:

What is the dumbest thing you ever said to anyone? Meaning what is your best "foot in mouth" moment of all time, or what thing did you say that you instantly wished you could take back. Spare no details

Hmm, what led you to the conclusion that I say stupid things to people, which perhaps I may be guilty of, it may have happened once, twice, thrice? And was I playing? Oh, well I guess I'm playing cool.

I think a perfect example would be from my college years when I hadn't yet learned that sometimes it is better to hold your thoughts than speak them.

I came upon some acquaintances in the cafeteria, two girls whom I knew only very superficially, maybe through a class, maybe a friend of a friend.  Anywho they were often together and at this particular moment in time in the caf the two ladies were holding hands.  So in my artful thoughtlessness I put my foot through my mouth into the back of my head asking them "Are you two lesbians?" with a hopeful smirk on my face.

I do believe I may have heard the words "jerk" and "***hole" and I certainly received a look of disgust from one of the females in question.  Sadly, neither one of them ever spoke to me again as per my usual way with the ladies.

So now what, I get to ask someone a question? Maybe someone should post a list of who is playing or something.

Who, me?
Who knows, it's been over three years. I might've, but don't remember it. Not too likely, though. I don't tend to take all this seriously enough.
I did learn a bunch of stuff though; if nothing, by browsing Wikipedia so that I dig up an answer for some posts in the God thread lol. And I also, after seeing your photo with the joker hat, learned to always lock my front door.
Twice.

My next question goes to Death and it's quite simple.

Why am I serious?

Well of course I'm not always serious, but let's just take into account only the times I'm serious. Many many reasons, in fact. One is that when I come at HC it isn't usually just to "hang out", I'm not very 'good' at that kind of thing... then again, I do find some things to argue about, because personally, random chatting gets old really fast. (I'm not talking about the OSM in case you wonder)

Another reason would be the whole point of being serious. People say that we (speaking in general) should lighten up a bit because, you know, the world is already bad/crappy/****ty/whatever or too serious, so some jokes are good. However this is exactly why I'm serious: you will not make the world better by IGNORING the seriousness/problems. Ignoring never leads to anything done or good, and I cannot help it, I've got a conscience with it. Even if I make a stupid joke or program or something, if I find out a flaw, it is hard for me to say "LOL what a dumb flaw" and actually keep it that way without feeling some kind of remorse for me not trying to "fix" it somehow (if it is fixable, otherwise no point).

I cannot "let go" of stuff easily at all. And I do know that letting go of knowledge/information is not going to make it disappear. That's one of the problems why I'm serious. It's also why I am very pessimistic in RL, somewhat bitter and not very "forgiveable" --> i.e I (extremely) rare forgive people, and tbh, if they get into **** that I warned them of, or if they ask for help when they did something I didn't agree with at all, I'll most probably pass it. In my opinion the reason I am even in this situation is because I'm always supposed to be "the nice guy", which simply won't cut it. Yes I am very nice, but hypocritical, because I'm only nice to people I want to be nice to. I'm tired of feeling like being exploited.

That may have answered more than one question though

Question to veco: Have you ever hated anything with a passion? Not frustration, but with a passion. (this doesn't mean getting angry either)

(you don't have to reveal what if you don't want to)
(and yes I do hate a few things with a passion )

An instant trigger for passionate hatred is pushed-beyond-the-limits arrogance and hypocrisy combined with mental/physical aggression to prove ones point. Now that sounds scary - it boils down into 2 parts of my life:

1)Years 2005-2007 when I took interest in politics were the same years when a far-end rightwing party won the election, both government and president (prime minister and president were twins btw). I won't go into detail on this since now I think it's not worth it but that time was surely one of passionate hatred.

2)my father is THE most closed-minded person I've ever known. On a daily basis I don't interact with him and all my feelings towards him seize to exist, I just throw him out of mind as much as I can.
Now, if he was only close-minded it wouldn't be that much of a problem but he gets hotheaded very fast, offensive and won't let go even when obvious proof is handed to him or you try to ignore. It's half bad if I'm his target but when it comes down to my mother/brother I burst with rage and the formentioned hate inside.
I have to say that I'm tempted to write more about this but I'll restrain myself form that. Suffice to say that nowadays there is nothing else which gets even close to what I'm feeling when facing him on his 'spree'.

Hmm, that was a small relief

My question goes tooo.... HornyReborn!
What is the single best moment of your life?(can post some runner-ups if you feel like it) doesn't matter if you felt like a superman, had insane luck etc, what was THE best?

That is a pretty tough question Veco.

Nothing stands out as the most amazing moment.  I've had some highs and lows but nothing too extreme at either end.  There is obvious stuff like experiences with women or scoring a goal in a big soccer match but I don't know if that trumps everything.  So none really, sorry if it isn't the best answer.

If I still get to play I'll ask DagothGares if you have any disabilities or things that get in the way of your living life as you might wish?

Ehmm... I don't have a real physical handicap. I have a few almosts, but nothing really...

My back is slightly crooked (really, slightly, some people have to go in wheelchairs or wear corsetes, but not me), but a career as a pianolifter isn't in it for me
I was born with a weak aorta... If I don't want to see doctors, I can't do that either, since they have to check up whether my main arterie (they used one of my other arteries to replace my aorta) hasn't burst or stretched out because of they continued heavy blood stream going through. (You know, the heart is a place where a lot of blood flows)

I have just a weak physical health overall (easy for me to get a lung infection, since I already had two small ones this year alreay), which puts me at unease, because, at school, they demand ATHLETES. Tanned men with live oiled bodies that tense every muscle while they elegantly cleave through the air towards wherever they have to go.

But, as I said, nothing is really prohibited at all, but I am just a pessimist...

TheDeath: Your overall view of the human race. You advocate a positive (or at least idealistic) philosophy most of the time, so my question is: What is your view one the world? You think there's a utopia or a dystopie in the future?

(I know I asked a question to death once already, but I assure you that my... Wait... Why not now? Sure, time to [del] something.)

Asheera: what was your school life like? (I am totally assuming you're not in school anymore) Were you popular? Did you go for high education or did you stop as fast as you could? What did you study exactly? And could yu tell anything else that comes up in your head?

Hey, we need long posts!
