I already suggested it by PM time ago, I reiterate it in appropriate thread:

solitaire345, JimV provided a much better ERM help, and this took months of testing and trials.

Thread

OxFea got often skipped  because his posts are always short, but nonetheless they provide also very valuable informations which also took  months of work.

Suggested reward:
3rd post from the bottom

ItsJustme started a new thread, satyrs, deathhounds and Unihorns are great quality.

Aleee presented us the most advanced russian project so far. I rated the thread as "inspiring" as it should be. My first action of that kind, hope will be forgiven.
As now he is officially part of the russian team working on, a little reward will not hurt, the screens are incredible.

What to add about Astaroth hand made map objects?

O Cepheus, where are thou?

Actually though Salamandre raises an interesting point.  It's probably hard for mods to judge the value of posts which include scripting information.  Scripts might be only a few lines long but take quite a bit of effort, so it's helpful when people familiar with the amount of work that building scripts takes brings this to our attention.

I've (very belatedly, sorry) removed all mention of the Horn of the Abyss leaked beta from the Hero of Light mod thread.

I ask members to please show some respect for the HotA team and avoid distributing those resources, here and elsewhere. Any links to them in this forum will be removed with no warning.

I think Mister_kalu deserves a QP since he has done a great job with The Succession Wars mod, which is not completed yet, but some parts are download-able and it seems that he put a great amount of work in his mod.

I agree, but since he's still at work on it, I'll hold back on that a while. There has to be some incentive to finish.

As I've already said multiple times, I am toasting any links or threads related to the Horn of the Abyss leak with prejudice. I believe it is a genuine mistake on Kegolo's part, so no formal warning - just this once.

Even if you want to go off and download something as bug-laden as that build on some other site, please at least reserve some basic respect for the HotA team and don't repost it here.

Yo sorry thought it was genuine release and since it's in Russian I wouldn't know any better. Oh well

Hello

I think JimV and Salamandre deserve a star for their precious recent help on the Erm help thread

I also think JimV (means total +2) and Solitaire345 for  their fix on the ERM html help file (see erm help thread)

Best regards

Thank you very much Magissia, but the sad truth is that it would be unjust for me to get any reward before 0xFea and Bersy get at least a dozen apiece and Solitaire345 gets about three.  Salamandre and Aleee should each get another before I do also.  I used to say I learned all I know about ERM from reading ERM Help and practicing, but thanks to these people that is no longer true.  For what it is worth, you get my gold star for the most promising ERM student I have encountered in my short time here.  (By the way, I get an error when I click on your script link.)(Update - link okay now.)

I don't agree. Small hints cannot be compared to constant work on helping new people to get acquainted with ERM.

Magissia, I already gave Jim a reward after your email request.

I must admit I have been a little hesitant to go overboard with QPs, but I agree that the tireless, intuitive work of Jim and others can't possibly be overlooked. It's an unrivalled contribution of time and work to help others out, even considering the other HC forums. I tried my hand at Heroes V lua scripting and could barely get my mind around it. I dare not imagine the tribulations required to produce the complex scripts I'm seeing in that thread.

So a few more shinies are going out in special recognition and thanks of this.

I just saw the new thread on Bersy's Phoenix Mod and downloaded Salamandre's English version and started to read the manual.

In my opinion, this outranks everything ever done to Heroes in sheer magnitude and grandeur, including WoG itself (although of course WoG was a necessary precursor).  If there were a Nobel Prize for Heroes' mods, it should go to this effort.  In lieu of that, I think Bersy should get at least four QP's and Salamandre one.

(And thanks very much for giving me the QP's, although if I were an honorable person it would be difficult to live with the shame of temporarily having more than Bersy when he has done 100 times as much.)

I am playing the Phoenix mod right now, but don't fear, Bersy and Salamandre will probably have gotten at least two more points apiece by the time I'm done.

I have taken a knife and committed huge Dexter Morgan-style butchery against the original Horn of the Abyss thread. 96 pages worth of offtopic comments, arguments and dramatics whittled down to 8 pages of fairly clean, salient information on the mod! Next target is the behemoth Possible Creature thread.

Dude Cepheus seriously what's with the "Heroes Community History" slicing thing? If you became a moderator just to hack and slash whatever you don't like then in my opinion your promotion was a big mistake. Sure, if someone cursed and used hoarse language in the HotA thread then he should be silenced. However, if someone just offers a diferent opinion, or disaproves of something, or even is sarcastic about it (in as modest a way as possible that is), that is his right to do so and frankly i don't know what in God's name gives you the right to cut it out just because you don't like it. And now you say you want to slay the Possible Creature thread as well. So what, if you don't like a creature then it's gone?

Please, i ask you to reconsider your deleting policy. It's really annoying (at least in my point of view).

And anyways, haven't you seen the "The people VS Larry Flynt" movie? It pretty much visualizes my point here. Just because you don't like something that doesn't mean you have the right to delete it and deprive the change for others to see it. I for one liked the HotA sarcastic and disaproving messages (i've writen some myself). Who wants to read a thread with only comments like "wow this is awesome" and "oh great i can't wait to play it" anyway? You can't silence the opposition man. It's just wrong.

LOL.

Dude, there are no positive comments there now since this thread isn't dumping site anymore, all personal opinions have been deleted and now there is only useful info about mod itself. I personally didnt like 90 pages of trash talk and it was "a bit" annoying having to read all that useless stuff in order to find some information. That was spamfest, nothing more.

He is trying to keep Corribus standards (he is halving the other forums)

With all the people coming and going, IMO it is impossible to keep a forum 100% clean-what means clean anyway, once you delete the CoC breaches-.

On another side, the first HoTA thread can be as well fully deleted (but it has also some touching side, proving that even the best are mortals and can fail-thus the comments), as most of pics are lost, and the graphics proposed are not the actual. Or not. Often, the amount of innocent spam in some thread testifies how long and full of obstacles is the step between "I have a great idea" and DOWNLOAD. A lesson to learn.

HoL is right. Revolution is also right. Hard to be a mod nowadays, good luck

Kill them all! Hang'em high!

Good and clear info can really stimulate community and help people understand and organize things. If only they didn't ask same quiestions all over again and were walking in circles.

I believe potential advantages are worth cutting everything in half and trashing non-informative posts.
