I can't imagine it, honestly i hope there will never be world of starcraft, WoS would mean no SC 3, besides it's a very bad move for blizzard, if blizz want to make WoS, it's best after SC 3, because the mysteries in SC are exposed quicker than WC, especially in SC 2, so let SC 3 create more complicated mysteries first, then continue it in WoS. Blizz will reap much more money like that than creating WoS after SC 2.

Well it would have to be different from wow... think about it. What is there to raid in the starcraft universe? big ancient dragons guarding loot? And guns aren't formed in anture and picked up by dragons... if anything they would be obsolete outdated weapons. I think it would be more like WAR. except more successful

Well, in Wc2 the races were basically Goblins, Orc, Humans, Gnomes, High Elves and Ogres. Generic fantasy.
But Wc3 expanded the universe.
An MMO with 3 races would be different. I think they will add more races from other planets.
I think a Starcraft MMO would be unique and very different from all others.

I don't know how you could make a Starcraft universe without completely changing the plot. As much as I enjoyed (enjoy) Warcraft 3, I still think I hold a higher place for Starcraft. But everybody is at war with everybody in Starcraft. It's an extremely polarized universe. And plus everybody is practically dead by the end of Brood War. Plus I don't see how you would be able to play a Zerg in an MMO. They'd have to create several new races in order to make it a diverse enough game.
Although I do think an MMO Shooter (like Planetside) would have a lot of potential.

Well, just have a look at Warhammer 40 000 On-line MMORPG that they are planning to launch at 2012, THIS is a univers that is nothing but WAR and you have plenty of races to put them into the universe.
Honestly i dont like MMOS , but if there will be an MMO in a decent universe (SC or Warhammer) and you wont have to fight Giant plants or rats to gain lvls and magical swords+20 that are hidden in the chest guarded by a few hunderd orcs, than it migh be wort a shot.

THERE IS STILL HOPE FOR YOU!
It might be an RTS according to Blizzards new job hiring!

Warcraft 4?
This makes me think that Blizzard didnt lie about that they are making a new series. I believe that they will start their new series with an RTS like they did with WoW and that they maybe do now with Starcraft 2.
