Who else than you would have such a big problem with the 20 post limit? 7200 posts in 9 months...none of the active and none of the in-active members comes any close to this numbers..
But as mentioned, we Mods decide about the flood protection, and probably about the post limit too. Those who behave fine and contribute will be rewarded with those things in future. Not that bad, is it?

@Angelito: I agree, I do have problems with 20 post limit usually because I try to help everyone I see, even if the question is noobish and answer is simple. And I do this in almost all forums (all I check - I don't go into H3 ones, for example), and that's why I have problems with the limit. So as I said, I will probably not reply to every noobish question so I can be sure I have some 'free posts' to answer more serious ones or participate in a competition/forum game.

That's one of the many consequences. Ripping off the entire QP system has good and bad parts, I think we must make a compromise.
But let us wait till 2 April.

I believe there will be a way to avoid post limits, since Val said he'll come up with something (if I remember correctly). But seriously... first was this Pan-Ash case that divided people into two "rival tribes" here, and now this... is it just me or do someone else too hear the horn of apocalypse?
Come on now.
If this is an april's fool joke (which I believe it isn't) it has caused some negative vibes here and again... there's like an endless loop now.
It makes me  to see how people rise against each other.

by taking away the QPs from us, u have taken away our HCsm! The QPs were so HC-like. i've never seen on other forums that moderators/admins give rewards for posts or anything like this - only post count. Now HC is just like other forums.
QP meant to show our quality! The yellow stars show us the quantity (more like spamm which in most times it's useless). The QPs showed our true value.
We had a very good system, everything was smooth as water. it's just too horrible to find a reason like: users fight (post) just for QPs so that's why we remove them. and the new system angelito said it's....baah!
This is weird and i hope it's an inocent april fools joke, if not then u moderators and admins have disappointed me (i know - my opinion counts less or doesn't count). i will always be loyal to HC, but nothing will be the same.

Hoax or not, I am always about changes.
Favortism will play a big part when it comes to who gets flood reports or not etc.
It should be interesting though.
I am sure the Mods jumped on Asheera to make sure she never sees the word flood protect lol

I am sure there will be more attacks on mods then QP's

seriously guys, where the QP's the ONLY reason you made alll those quality posts that you made? I don't think so, you can still make quality posts, what have changed? nothing! it seems a bit childish to stop contributing because you don't get any more red stars. Besides the mods said tey would reward you otherwise, they and val will work out a system. You will get all your priviliges back in no time if you keeps contributing. And if you miss the red stars under your avatar, then ask Val or one of the mods to change colour of the stars under your avatar.

And here I was wondering why nobody had red stars under their avatars, I missed this whole thing. I'm still on the fence whether or not this is an April Fool's joke, hah, but I'm indifferent to the loss of QPs as I never had any in the first place.

If its an April joke it sucks. What country do you live in? QPs were removed on March 30 or something.
You cant joke other days then 01/04.
Yes, please remove post limit. Its very annoying and I almost never spam anyway, and when I do its mostly in the Wastelands.
We will get used to this change - but it was shocking and happened to fast. In like one day all red QPs were removed.
Can we atleast change our star color? I would like them red.

I'm extremely aggravated that my hard labour of getting them has faded away in one freaking instant. It feels as if I've lost a part of my soul. It feels horrid. My labour is vane, my respect fading, my honour dimished, and the reason why does not satisfy me at all.
I DEMAND that they are returned at once. I was a RESPONSIBLE Legendairy Hero, and so I will be!

Hey Dad the problem has excalated similar to this recently for years.
I think it happens like once a year & it last about 2 weeks or so.
I am all up for changes.
There will be new arguments, the mods will get flamed more perhaps.
There will be more flame wars maybe.
I think trying something new would be good.
At least to try it out LOL.

What also annoys me to hell (though less than the sudden loss of QPs, tbh) is that the MAJORITY of the posters here, have been aginast the abolishing of the QP-system, and yet are COMPLETELY ignored by our "dear Admin". Why doesn't he even read all the points the Pro_Qps guys have stated? Why doesn't he care about what we say? Qps have brought MORE GOOD THAN EVIL to HC, but yeah, I guess at if you are areound for only once a month, I guess that only the whining is obvious. Bah! It's not tought through, that decision.
You know, all of this makes me question why I even bother to post here. Everything I say is either ignored or uncredited.
This is a complete outrage, and a Dark day in the History of HC.
