Pokemon
Ok, so I kinda enjoy pokemon, dispite the fact that a lot of them are very very similar. Have some questions for those who are much better at this game then I.
1st - I need a female Eevee. Which version of the game is best to capture a female Eevee..and where at in that version?
2nd - Ditto would suffices as well. Same question. Version and where?
3rd - Dragon Pokemon. I know fire red I could get Charizard, but what are some others and where?
4th - Need a legendary Water pokemon. Prefer the one that looks like a lion..but can't spell the blasted name. What version and where?
These questions will do for a start. However, I think only a few play pokemon here. Yes, these questions can be answered by various internet sites..but all of them are blocked by work .

pokemon is a cool game, it's quite strategical. I won't be able to help you, I finished pokemon yellow and almost finished pokemon gold, but it was some years ago. I played a bit of pokemon saphire too. the lack of innovations was a bit disappointing, but the fights between 4 pokemons was interesting. I also noticed many pokemons had several elements. I'm not sure it was the case in previous episodes.
wait, I might be able to help you about the legendary pokemon. in pokemon gold, I remember I got attacked by a legendary pokemon. I think it was a tiger or lion of ice or electricity. it was right near the village where you begin the game, where you start training your 1st pokemon against level 2 pokemons.
it was either this one :
raikou
or this one :
suikun

I remember playing Pokemon when I was younger
We had so much fun playing against eachother with our gameboys with that large cable between them, everybody was powerleveling to get stronger than the other
But then some nerd found cheats on the internet and soon everyone had the ultimate creatures...
Anyway, I don't really like the games now... or umm... I haven't tried it for like 9 years... maybe it's time for a reunion...
or not some childhood memories are best untouched.

1.) Eevee has about a one-in-eight chance of being female regardless of the version. If you need a female, you can either:
a.) Save in front of the person who gives you Eevee, and shut the game off without saving then turn it back on if you don’t get a female.
b.) In Platinum (or Diamond or Pearl) get the National Dex. Then go talk to Mr. Backlot. Every day he’ll spin some story about meeting a Pokemon in his garden that isn’t normally found there and his butler will go plant it there: one of the Pokemon this can happen with is Eevee. There can be a new Pokemon every day, so if you don’t get Eevee right away, keep trying! Also, the Pokemon from the previous day will still be around, so if Eevee gets planted, but you run out of time because you had to go to work or whatever, you can try back the next day. (I don’t know if it’ll still be there if you don’t talk to Backlot the next day; in the process of testing that…)
2.) Same answer here for Platinum—I think. If you have Emerald Version, there’s a cave in a house on the west side of the town west of the route with all the ashes where you can catch Ditto.
3+4). The answer to one fixes the other. In FireRed or LeafGreen, start with Charmander. That will set the Johto beastie that randomly encounters you to Suicune. (Do bear in mind that Charizard is technically Fire/Flying and not an actual Dragon type, though.)

Most of the pokemon games are not much different from each other. Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum are almost identical up to a certain part. Despite this, the games are addictive, and it is fun to see how many different types you can catch. That and to try to beat 5 trainers in a row for the elite 4 + region champion match. That can be challenging.
I am thinking of restarting and getting a female eevee instead of the male I have. Before I do, quick question..it is the females that decide type right (when breeding)? One thing that is stoping me is the 80000 steps that it took to get my eevee from "I hate your guts and will bite you if you look at me funny." to friendly enough to evolve into a Umbreon. That is 80000 with it wearing the sooth bell (so around 160k if not?). Thank goodness for the cycling road.
I also have a couple of interesting pokemon. Togepi, and Roton. Though both can be gotten again. Same problem though, all given or traded pokemon are not that fond of the new trainer.

Take your Umbreon to the daycare center with a Ditto and get yourself some Evee eggs. One is bound to be female.

*nods* Getting a ditto would be a good thing. Then I wouldn't ever have to worry about breeding again. Cause if it can breed, a ditto can breed with it!. Ditto's don't just fall from the sky tho.
Edit : Looks like fire red is my best bet for both. Though only one eevee is given at the Mansion, ditto can be caught on several routes. All I would need is one. If I start with Charazard I will also be able to catch my favorite legendary pokemon. Win/Win.
Edit 2 : Seems like I may have to beat fire red a couple times in a row. From what I am getting from info I am finding out..I could get almost an entire lineup of legendary.
Articuno, Moltrese, and Zapados can be found.
Even MewTWO!
Of course there is Raikou, Entei, and Suicune (my personal favorite)
Ho-Oh
Lugia
Of course capturing all of them would be near impossible since you get only one masterball.
Though getting all legendaries really isn't neccessary. I would be happy with Suicune and a Ditto.

I found Ho-oh on pokemon gold, but couldn't catch him. even asleep, with 1hp left and by using a masterball (or something like that) he still managed to escape.
but a friend caught lugia on silver.

Recommendation? Timer Balls. Those are my fallback for Legendaries who pop Ultra Balls like grapes. Got several legends with those. Putting them to sleep helps too, if only to keep your team in one piece while you throw capturing devices.

First off all 'Pros' catch their legendaries (and beldam(Premetagross)) with pokeballs.
3rd - If you mean draconic looking pokemon. then you don't really need advice but for each version...
R/G/Y - Dragonite (dratini, found in safari zone)
G/S/C - No noticable difference
R/S/E - Trapinch(sandstorm desert) evolves into flygon, (meteor falls)bagon evolves into salamence, swablu(outside emteor falls i think)evolves into altaria.
D/P - gible(wayward cave)
Platinum - Gible, Swablu(dunno)
4th - Thats suicune. already answered but its probably suicune.
Quote: Togepi, and Roton
Hope you mean rotom. but rotom doesn't evolve (it has forms though).
and ho-oh/lugia/deoxys on fire red/leaf green require a nintendo event or a cheat machine
