I'm not sure what to think of this.
Part of me is overjoyed that Pokémon is all the way in 5th Gen now. The other part of me is sad that it went full 3D. I miss the old days when 99% of the games were 2D (or at most, 2.5D). 
Anyways, we'll see what develops from here. <3 Pokémon!

You know what this means, right hun?
It'll be released in the Western Hemisphere before 2015. 
(Has to be released in Japan and then there's usually a 1 year delay.  )

Eh, ATM I have Platinum and SS to keep me occupied; I can wait. Plus by then I might have completed the Pokedex for Gen IV!

Not without Celebi you can't! 
(And IIRC, you can't get Mew using only 4th Gen games either. :S)

Ah, but remember: for Mew I have a fiendish plan. Celebi I'm just going to have to hope for an open event, and probably some of the other event Pokemon too.

It'll be released in fall of THIS YEAR Guys and 2011 for the other half of the world, so you don't have to wait 5 years.

5th generation - pretty wild.
But I would love to play HG or SS because that was the game 
But if I buy a NDSi I will get P or that other one aswell
And maybe find the black somewhere cheap on Ebay
All I really want for 5th generation is better pokemon, some that are just awesome looking. Most of those from 4th was a bit.. to .. yeah ugly

I hope the fifth Generation has more Pokemon that are completely NEW rather than being pre/evolutions of Pokemon that already exist. I'd also like to see mini-games ala the Underground and the Pokethalon, though I may be alone in that. XD

It's in HG/SS, and is surprisingly fun...it's a collection of minigames where you use the stylus to throw snowballs, make your Pokemon jump hurdles and run races and such.

You know... with the newer graphical style and the fact that the recently unveiled Nintendo console... do you think that the game will be in 3d? I can see it happening for a few reasons. including that nintendo probably doesn't want people using emulators to play their games. and it would be somewhat harder to make an emulator. It will get cracked but will take a little while at the least. especially given that it requires the physical manipulation of the screens..

From what I've read it's going to be on the DS (which is only good IMO; I don't want to by a new system for one game! >.< ), but with more 3D than the previous games.
