i'd put them in this order of complexity.
Battle hall
Battle roulette
Battle castle
Battle Idol ( the one where you choose 1 pokemon, you need some pretty good techniques to get by)
Battle factory (simply because its only a matter of chance, you could very well keep getting bad pokemon. plus it is largely metagame, you gotta know the metagame of this specific enviroment to do well.)

Battle Factory is my favourite, but it is TOUGH AS HELL!!!
You really gotta see the tactics in those you choose and you have to be prepared to meet Types that can wipe you away in one hit..
But it is so much fun!!

Arcax, word of advice: you might want to AVOID visiting every major Pokemon fansite from now until you plug Black and/or White into your DS, because there have been some MAJOR info dumps and given the short amount of time left before the Japan release it's only going to get more spoiler-heavy from here.

Starters
and about 1,2... 30 pokemons I already saw :<
I miss those times with no netz, when seeing a wild Hoothoot made my heart jump into throat.
+ I was thinking about buying a heavily pre-owned DS and Platinum to trade monsters with myself. Nintendo wi-fi - thank you for your wiiiiide accessibility.

Oh yes and Nintendo please do something with HM usage in Black and White. When you have a rock smashing pokemon in party you should just touch the screen and it should get crushed not like this :

Looks like it can be breaked down.

Danish isnt very close to Japanese I guess hehe.

Ou thanks Wog. I thought that since is described as genes thats the constant value of an encountered monster in wild. So you can tell whats the IV after just seeing the stats, nature or this shourt desc like : Likes to eat. But I guess its more complex hmm.
So If Ill level up a Pidgey to level 50 it will already gain a special IV and then I can pass it down by breeding and make a powerful Pidgey ?
+Does anybody know - Baoba calls you when the items leveled up ?

Yo - The Gym leaders have been announced - only their types and Japanese names, badges and that Basic info

I think the IV is set when you encounter and catch it; leveling it up just makes it easier to tell what it is. (And make sure you wipe their EVs from them before you input stats--either with the EV berries, or level them up with Rare Candies and then just turn the game off without saving to put them back to 'normal'. Otherwise the EVs will skew the IV values.)

@Waroverlord, I have to dissapoint you... Seems like it will again be Fire/fighting starter and the grass evolution line is the final
I just found tons of official pictures, looking good.. some of it Some have really bad pre evolutions and others have totally awesome pre and final Like a mixture of good & bad

Hmmmmmmmmm. From what I've seen on Serebii it looks like a solid devide between cool and cute pokemon. Of course the types they list aren't fully confirmed but from the looks of it, it going to be a challenge to put a halfway decent looking and effectively varied team together.
But I like challenges like that.

I just visited Bulbapedia and saw a list of new pokemon types - no pictures - some very interresting type combos really , but the starters dissapointed me.. why? because they have noo cool type combos!
