Smash for 3DS is GREAT! Just saying...
My favourite character right now is my customized Mii Sword Fighter named "Shynobi" (shy guy mask + ninja) and I could kick all of your casual asses at once!

I suppose yes, but what does it have to do with Pokemon Omega discussion? Aside from the rooster...
BTW, I hope they won't pull some s*it with Mega Steelix and Mega Glaile availability outside the demo...

This remake will be legendary. So much great new stuff coming out each month. I am so excited to revisit my favorite region.
The only thing that is worrying me about the pokemon franchise is the new megas. I think that they are making way to many megas. I would much rather want to see some new pokemon.
But I still like the mega idea, just don't make everyone mega evolve

If you don't have the demo code yet, there's this nifty German site which generates codes and sends them to your mail (so European codes only). Here.
I've checked it out myself and it works, playing the demo right now. I don't know if it's legit (probably is cause it has all the license info and such), but aside from asking for your mail it has no other things like surveys etc.
It's overcrowded right now cus a lot of people are probably using it at the moment, but I managed to slip through (you need to keep refreshing)...
The demo is around 2000 block in size.
It seems the site wasn't official and got 404-ed by Nintendo. I did manage to get the demo though...

Sorry War, if I knew about it a bit sooner I would've wrote it down here. You can still try Nintendo Life, some people are giving away spare codes to people who post e-mail addresses in the dedicated threads.

I wouldn't have seen it though, I would have been cooking dinner, but the thought is nice.

I can't wait to get my hands on Pokemon! This is, sadly, going to be my first Nintendo game and I am going to get it with new, beautiful, Transparent Red Nintendo 2DS. I can't wait for the end of November.

Yeah, Eurofags get Mega Glaile, while Japanfags get Mega Steelix in the demo. I think this Mega evolution makes Glaile interesting, cause I never liked this Pokemon, but know, with it's badass evolved look, it's quite interesting. In this sense, Mega Evolutions are a great addition. Not only do they make uninteresting (at least for me) Pokemon interesting, they also give a chance to make you're "unevolving" Pokemon "evolve" if you know what I mean. It's like a contradiction to the said evolution. Your Pokemon stays the same, and at the same time, you can evolve it in and out. In this sense, I think it's a good mechanic. Besides, I'm not a competitive player so I go for the looks more  (though some of those ME are ugly).
I wonder if that lvl 40 Glaile, which can be transferred to the full game, will keep it's stats. Cus it would be a bit OP to have a lvl 40 Pokemon right from the start...
BTW there are a lot of "soaring" fragments in the demo, and while Hoenn looks really nice from birds-eye view, it shows how small various elements (like cities, mountain ranges) really are...

I know we don't. I just can't see why not.
About Mega Glalie - I like it. I know that a lot of discussing is going on why it didn't get a second ability. I agree that an Ice/rock or Ice/dark would make sense, and it would be cool. But I prefer a pure ice type.

tbh, i'd just prefer a regular evolution over a mega, but Gen IV might be the last gen to actually add new ones  (not counting Eeveelutions of course.)

That might be the case, as in Gen V & VI we got only new mons. That being said, I don't mind that much as most of the non-evolving mons we got now are pretty decent. But I wouldn't mind new evos of mons we already got.

Or we might get an egg, or a low-lvl Snorunt/Glalie with the stone. It's underlvl now to begin with, as Snorunt don't evolve untill lvl 43 and we got a lvl 40.

Oh yeah, I didn't think of the badges  Still, me thinks the best bonus from the demo will be the Megastone (I hope it transfers). Even if it's obtainable in the full version, you'll always have a spare stone for trading...
