For T.o.T.E.
Same instructions as Vokial's + Flip the Book for its back cover, where, it is printed at the very same place that Vokial's finger points at.
If, for some reason of some kind, there is no code printed into that very same white box, contact Ubisoft via E-mail for a digital copy of their own server's generation of an install/activation code of that last version of HoMM5(T.o.T.E.).
Please note though: Installing HoMM5v1.0 + all the patches(starting at 1.4) up to 1.6 then, HoMM5v.2.0 + patch 2.1 is, recommended for, not having the need for an install key prior to install the next version 3.0 of T.o.T.E. + patch 3.1. The patches must be installed before launching the game, even, for very first time.

I got my reply from ubisoft and it wasn't good, but I got some answers. They said that I should return it to the store, but since it is past the date I can return it, I can get a code for $5 by mail. I have a question. Is it worth $5(in american dollars, I think) to play on ubi.com?
And also, I think I already said it, that the Cd-key space is BLANK!

Thats entirely up to you. if you don't want to play online then I would say there is no reason to do it. if you want to play online then you have to.$5 or $100 or free, if you want to play online you need the code.
something seems fishy though, it doesn't make sense they would charge you $5 for their error if there was an error on their side. my guess is they just don't believe you.
if you complained some more you could probably get the code for free.
