Lol I gave myself a way out with Forcecage. I'd make an awesome D&D GM. 
(Read the spell description and figure out what I can do to break free.  )

If it were me (ok technically it was, but don't let this influence you) I would cast a fireball into the room or maybe pillar of fire, then shut the door. Where exactly would the person in the room dodge too?

Well Pillars of Fire (aka. Flame Strike) can't be cast by Wizards, or at least I'm not finding anything.
I suppose an Empowered Fireball would be delicious. 
(But that's only level 4 or 5. Fireball is 3. Empowering it adds one or two levels. Can't remember how many.)
Forcecage is Level 7, and you can Extend its duration to increase the level even more. More major.
But, I don't want to be the only one posting feedback. This can be a very fun battle if done right. 
EDIT: Well it could be a good old Delayed Blast Fireball. Hmm, you may be on to something.

Pillar of Fire is not flame strike, but then again remember I played AD&D when 1st edition (up to I think 2nd addition) and with such books as Unearthed Arcana, Wizards Compendium, and such. You are probably right, and my memory is playing tricks on me.

According to d20srd.org, there isn't even a Pillar of Fire spell. 
Closest thing to it is a Flame Strike, which does look like a pillar, so maybe it's that.
1st Ed eh? I'm from the 2nd Ed generation.
2nd Ed was so easy to calculate, although I'll admit that modifying spells via the 3rd Ed metamagic feats is really fun.
Nothing like casting a long spell and then blurting out:
"Oh yeah. Quickened Disintegrate!"
(Quickened spells count as a free action, IIRC.)

Rangers can Wind Wall gases away, although I liked that idea.
It has to be something I can't easily counter.
Forcecage works because he doesn't know I can teleport out as a wolf.
Delayed Blast Fireball works because, as Misty points out, where can I dodge if the whole room is on fire.
Then again, I think you're onto something as well.
He could just shut the door after casting it.
EDIT: Who's going to post the update when we figure out what to do?

Don't spells like Prismatic Sphere, Gate (He can gate a lesser demon in on your hinny) alter reality, wish, etc. whee this is gonna be fun to watch.

In any case, update up. Whoever's close to the Ranger, you could like, help him out. XD
I didn't even know that a Delayed Blast Fireball has a potential maximum damage of 120.

Since Mitycal is out for a while I've been left without a credible source. Could some of you who's been playing Mitycal's previous RPs give me some background on Mitsu and Onyx so I know how to use them properly?

Onyx and Mitsu are Oriental people from another dimension. They are the equivilent of 'Ninja' though they are called Rune Mages. They can cast just about any spell (without verbal, or material, and while moving) but there is 3 ways they do this.
Quick casting which reduces spells to 25% power/range/duration etc.
Normal casting which only halfs normal power/range/area of effect/etc
extended casting which takes twice as long as normal but has normal effect.
Since it is mostly movements of their hands it is very hard to interrupt them.
Spells take more energy for them to cast, so they cast less number of spells also.
They use their hands and weapons but are able to hit just about anything with them (though against the statue they would not even scuff the stone). Both are very determined and very honorable.
Edit : Also when casting spells they can trace the runes and sacrifice 2 hit points per spell level to double the normal power/range/etc (ie for quick casting it would be 50% reduction instead of 75%, normal would be normal damage/etc, and extended would actuall do double damage/etc). They can only do this a couple of times (regardless of their hp) a day before being totally exhusted and unable to fight or cast).

Most likely? They would most likely not interfear unless asked (either way), and probably only if the Giant and Fae ask. Now if the battle spilled over where they were, they would try to end the combat somehow, or at the very least seperate the combatants.
Oh and I AM on vacation. Just got out of the Jacuzzi . Hehe right now a little bored  .

@Geny: Me and Alkar have played in Misty's other RP based in this setting (the one Omega took over by the time it reached HC; War of 5/8).
In fact my ranger is ripped directly from the other one, but only because I love him.

And we were supposed to beat this wizard to a pulp.
(Well, or capture him. Whatever works best. )
You can suppose that he's going to protect himself from spells if another wizard shows up though.
