Creature Experience works fine. I just took the stats from what I saw in hero's window. In fight, they have +9 attack.
But I didn't gave them prayer speciality in school, but "no distance penalty".

So when I attack Deemer, they have 45 attack and 31 defense. They deal 27-28 damage and have speed 16.

Anyway...I played on and saved right now middle month 4. I've done the snow area and defeated Cyra (which was very easy fight, lasted 2 rounds only...). The faeries took a while because they blocked all damage too often

I conquered the Inferno town, and saw some of these heretics running around and decided not to come too close to them. Fought that Titan's cave....lol..never saw this building before. Was funny to fight, but was a piece of cake anyway...I have 1400 ladies right now. Took prayer as next bonus, and "cast blind" as next speciality. Couldn't find Pyre in that inferno region though...

Found the way back home and went through the 1way monolith behind the darkblue boarder and discovered 3 more titan's coves
Will do them tomorrow when I am not so tired.

Cast blind/paralyse/petrify does not work if you have 2 attacks, as the second dispels the first. And most of creatures are immune to it anyway.
But the emerald tower will give a lot of damage if visited each week. All the next fights were set up with damage increased from emerald tower. But there are many possibilities to improve the ladies. For me the best one was to increase the damage, ended with something around 800. But resources are scarce on this map, so visiting the emeralds every week is not so easy. And expert mastery of earth etc costs 100 of each. But it is possible to end the map without being expert at all, but harder.

The blind can be casted with the second attack, when first attack casted soemthing else, right?

I tried several times to cast those spells on attack and the second one dispel the first. And I never saw a second attack cast a spell. Maybe it is better this way, would be game over for the AI if we could cast blind after the first attack.

When I am done with this map, I will try your "The Emperor of the World III" map. I loved the first 2 SOD maps, and I am sure this WoG version will be a great fun to play.

Yes, and the best of all : Alexander the great . Well I like TeW 3 so much too that I will probably play it again and try another general strategy and other tactics . "Age" is a power that works particulary well in the hardest fights. In ToP there are many ways to win but only one thing is necessary to be taken into account and it's the forces of the Scorpion King that we face the first day .

Thank you Michael, although I don't recognize my TEWIII map in the Chinese forums, after they added 50 scripts, commanders, and changed the archangels to supreme. It was a challenge, now it is just a Chaser clone (which I won on 200% by having one billion ghosts)

Maybe they can keep themselves out from doing same thing to ToP and Alexander? I am not sure any major change can serve the map, unless they have hundred of hours available for testing, as I did.

I just had my "meeting" with Malekith. (Start month 5)

On my first try, I thought: "Well, when I stay in town, I may have good chances, because he doesn't seem to have any flyer, I can kill his catapult, and then it is a question of time." But when he attacked me, I realized he has implosion and I have to cast resurrection pretty often. But then I saw I have ZERO spellpoints
I didn't notice how this happened...so I loaded 2 turns before and checked.
Then I noticed....2 steps after the 1way exit...points and movement to zero. OK...next try I will just stay in town and wait 1 day before I touch the milthril and free Malekith the Foo.

But then again I didn't notice what happened when he attacked me in town afterwwards...same procedure...ZERO spellpoints

That was the time when I thought: "Salamandre, you're a drunken bastard!!"

How the hell should I fight vs this guy without any spellpoint??

It took me a while to think about that problem....but after a few minutes, I had an idea....

I only will say this:

I fought Malekith WITHOUT loosing any troops and WITHOUT using ANY spellpoint!

How is that?

Welcome to WoG

In fact there is a trick, click with right mouse on the dungeon and it will propose you different bonuses. Choose "build cursed ground" and then stay in town. He can't cast implosion and you kill the catapult.

Did you used something else I didnt think of?

I hope you did not let him take the town first, becuse then he activate the 7 day limit for all the heroes from his faction.

Yes I did let him take the town first (How could I know about this activation ).

AI always keeps some of his troops in town when he conquers it and leaves it again. This is why I did that. He left the single MONSTER rogue in town and went back 3 steps towards the goldmine.
I took the town (sorceresses in 1 stack, due to tactics, I protected them with this green spellpower creature I recieved after I killed Tamika and the summoned enchanter, whiel my single archmagi proteced my ammocart) without using any spellpoints, visited the magic spring to double my spellpoints (960 that time) and went back to the town then.

In first round, I was pretty lucky my sorceresses (5 stacks á 400) casted hypnotize on the crystal dragons, also "aging", and mostly "dispel" on nearly all the other units. So Malekith casted 2 times earthquake and then he had no turn any more.

So this is no good idea now?

There are a few amazing ideas there. I could not think about all that...but now it is better that you reload and do the cursed ground trick. I should update it about the activation thing, by that time I did not know that if an AI takes a town then he LOSES it, all his faction will live for 7 days only, discovered this much later.

The click right thing is a feature of WoG (not scripted by me). It will cost you 3 mithril and will put cursed ground around the Dungeon.

I see. In fact, there are several versions of EoW3 in China. Of course the first version is as similar as possible to your original map. The other versions are made according to players' request.

Similarly, maps ToP and Alexander are translated strictly accroding to your original text, without andy changes. However, maybe we will  make some other versions, too. As you know, some changes are popular in China.

Update:

I am start of month 6 now and just grabbed the force field scroll. I also took the catapult and this strange way opened near the conflux town. Have to see where to go on now...

Fights were ok so far, just 1 of the last fights was very tricky to handle. I talk about the fight vs the legion of Ghost Dragons. They're immun to all spells, and have tons of hitpoints. I tried with 1 stack and lost badly, I tried with 6 stacks and lost badly too.

Then I realized something and was able to win this fight without losses. Not sure if this was meant to be like that...will tell afterwards.
Could someone tell me how he has done this fight?

Except very few battles ( first, then vs rogues and Deemer) all the fights were tested to work without any loses. The effective use of the clones will help greatly vs anything. Once you know what is the smallest sorc stack which will produce clones (3 if I remember well) then you split your stacks accordingly.

VS ghosts, the best setup is for me : 2 big groups +5x3 which will protect and be protected by their own clones. Then ressurect on dead small stacks while shooting with big on ghosts. The ghost must never be able to reach the big stacks. As each of your stacks produce 2 clones (sorcs and enchanters) we have enough time to kill anything, if the battle placement is optimal.

What is already your damage/sorc?

The problem vs the Ghost Dragons is, I need all my stacks of Sorceress to shoot ONE stack of Dragons down, and they are 6 or 7 stacks. I had around 3500 ladies, and 1 stack of Ghost Dragons consisted of 192. And those 6/7 stacks always manage to hit at least 1 stack of my ladies in round 1 or 2.

And I am not sure where you "always visit the emerald tower each week". I haven't seen such a tower for a very long time now, same counts for sorcery school. Close to that force field scroll, I visited those 2 buildings again after a long time.

But my trick went like this:

I used the obstacles of the battelfield!
Near the middle of the battlefield, there is some kind if "dead end". 1 hex which has only ONE accesable neighbor hex. I went into the fight with ammo cart, tent, 1 stack of ladies and this green slime thing (which has 30.000 hp now). I waited with my sorceress first round, moved the green slime thing to that "neighbor" hex, and after the ghostdrags had their turn, I teleported the ladies on that "dead end" hex. My ladies were not able to kill 1 stack of Drags per round (they got hit in round 1 coz I waited, so they were reduced by 400...), except they casted dispel on their first shot. My green slime guy could be attacked by 2 stacks, which were reduced to around 20 each, so those could attack the slimey guy without doing to much harm, while my ladies killed all other stacks.

Good move.

But one thing bothers me: there are tons of emerald towers on the map. One is in the area where Cyra was. Usually I let one hero there, and he recruits every week sorceresses and visit the emerald tower for bonuses. Another hero never leaves the market place, as I need to trade every week for the emerald.

Later in the game you have the choice to sacrifice the scouts for +2 attack/defense or keep one alive near another emerald tower. You can visit every emerald tower each week once.


All the fights were imagined with emerald towers enables. One could choose to improve the health, another the speed or damage etc. And thats lead to different game each time.

But the best defense is still the attack, as Sun Tzu said. So I think it is wiser to give damage instead of health. Something that can't survive to your attack can't hit you.

The sorcery schools do not need to be visited. You will find some of them during the game, and once you acquired the 7-8 abilities you wish, then forget them. But the emerald towers have a decisive impact in the end, where you will have to slain about 1 million creatures (last fight).

My damage record was 1200 for one sorc. That was really only for the sake of it, as you don't need more than 600-700. But with less than that, the last fight may be impossible to finish. And there is a time limit (to prohibit the intensive over power from emeralds) on 9th month, when Apocalypse gets out.

I never take the God (green thing) as he slows me, and we really don't need it. Clones are the power.

Here we see why I am not that much into WoG as of yet.

I really forgot about the fact ALL creatures of the same type on the whole map get improved when visiting any emerald tower or the sorcery school. I still thought only those who are in the army of the hero which visits these special buildings get improved. That's why I do not have much damage improvement on my ladies

I have 1 hero on a merket place of course, but none near any emerald tower to improve my ladies.

Now you know why my fights are a bit harder than yours, coz I think my ladies have a damage around 30 currently, instead of probably 100 if played correctly...

And I have 6 special abilities so far, so still 2 more slots to fill. I have summon enchanters, clone, no distance penalty, aging, immunity to all magic except beneficial and chance to deflect 75% of damage as special abilities so far.

I will post a picture of my current hero and army this evening when I am back home. So you can judge my chances being able to finish that map...
