Played 2 more with Elvin, its 3-1 now
Game 3 turned out to be really one-sided, same matchup as in game 2 -inferno v. dungeon. Yet this time dung didn't get decent damage power and all was over very fast.
Game 4 was good one again:
Zilo-Elvin game 4
Some bad mistakes on my side (like casting haste twice on the same unit  ) and ... damn Garuna!
Next matchup is Fortress for me and Inferno for Elvin.

Not much I could do as dungeon, enlightenment came late so no intelligence or dark revelation and paradoxically no arcane excellence either  Guess I was asking for it by keeping attack for tactics which did help but in the end my mana was too low to make it count. By the time gates started arriving it was pretty much over.
The orc mirror, now that was grand  I left Shak when I saw Garuna in the tavern as I figured it will be a match of endurance and took the core skills - attack, defense, leadership. Soon I saw I could get enlightenment(stamina) and shout(shout of rage) so I erased attack to keep battle frenzy only and went for empathy for a swift rage booster. Arties gave me the club, helm of chaos, necklace of bloody claw and 4 leaf clover all of which of paramount importance.
While in game my shamans proved only a short term boost while zilo's more careful use had all his units hasted before long. My club must have helped his chieftains act first so his centaurs had the initiative and since warcries cannot affect the ballista I was pressured to destroy it as fast as possible. Not that his warmongers and goblins were any less threatening once I got close but at least his cyclopes fell quickly to horde's anger. In the end it came to goblins&chieftains versus goblins&warmongers  A few hit&runs got the goblin rage down and the warmongers were continuously weakened until a team tag attack finally brought them down. My luck was a bit outrageous for +1.
Good game, looking forward to the next.

Finished 5th game, so the total score for series is 4-1
Was a bit one sided fight again, Elvin got a few unlucky turns and didn't use enough gating, so at the end dwarves with full set of runes under Inga's leadership just slaughtered them all out.
As for whole series, we had good bunch of nice, close games as well as nice communication, so tnx for games and fun time spent!

Damn straight, games were enjoyed and appreciated  Though I don't think it was that hopeless, there were more than a few moments where it could have gone either way. But my main mistake was puppet on priests, was hoping that with 14 init and right after my hero they would act before Inga. A mass endurance there would have helped a lot. Then there's the matter of resurrection rune.

That is great news, finally we have a final!
Congratulations to Zilo, and congrats to Elvin also, who put up a good fight, the equilibrium was lost, in the first dungeon - inferno, when things were really looking well for him, until the very end.
So, Natalka and Zilo will face each other for the title now, may the best win !
Also , Elvin and I might play small final, if he wants.

Ye, we started our small final... Games so far were:
1. Towerlord (Dwarfs - Helmar) wins Elvin (Haven - Ellaine)
2. Towerlord (Orcs - Garuna) losses Elvin (Orcs - Telsek)
3. Towerlord (Academy - Nur) wins Elvin (Necro - Orsson)

Played 1st game with Nat - its 0-1 for her.
Setup was Helmar and dwarves here vs. Zoltan and necro for Nat. Game was pretty much fun, especially since we discovered that sometimes haste and slow can work at the same time on the same creature But on the serious side, although I got most things that I wanted, Nat played very good and Zoltan did his job as well.
Guess, I did general strategical mistake by attacking instead of defending, yet most likely at the very end huge mana pool and Zoltans special would have done the trick anyways.

All that Proves is how broken Arena tourny is and How different Arena plays from Normal Heroes Game. And Since its obvious how much luck plays in Arena.. this only proves you are very Lucky.. Congrats.

Normal games are even more random, who are we kidding? Besides different balance doesn't mean absence of one even if I don't particularly like it.

I don't see how you can complain about bad luck having Inga + good runes in stores (mostly thinking about resurrection). In such endurance battle configuration, Helmar doesn't weigh much in the balance if you ask me, lucky strikes don't make it all (especially facing those silly resurrection runes)... Sure he had the upper hand at first steps, but then you had the game for you according to what I saw. Who gave the battle up ?

Played 2 more vs. Nat. Got a bit more then my fair share of luck in those, especially in game against dwarves, and its 2-1 for me at the moment.
Pairs were Klaus v. Helmar and Kythra v. Doughal

Seems this tournament is neverending ...
We (me & Elvin) decided to cut our small final short, and play it till' 3 games, as we both lack the time and it's more of a friendly thing, so the first to win now is the winner.
On the other hand, seems Zilo and Natalka have a long way to go... hope they decide getting closer to finish rather sooner than later.

We managed to do the last game today, it was the best one of the series I think , and we have a replay from it also.

Played game 4 with Nat. I lost this one, so score now is 2-2
Game was one of those Academy v. Dwarves games, where noone is doing any damage at all, so the battle dragged over 2 hrs and dwarves could have resisted defeat for at least one hour more. Apart from being soooo loooong, was close and intersting battle tactics wise - at one point I thought that I have it
