Eurovision 09
Its Eurovision soon again and I have watched all entries and I have to say... they suck lol 
Why cant you send serious songs?
I cant really say La Voix is the best entry either but its still my favorite lol
They should divide the contest into East and West. Then all the silly entries can go to the East side.
But Turkey and Greece etc which always have good songs would be counted as west
Then 10 winners on West and 10 winners on East would compete in the finale.
After hearing Turkeys song 100,000 times on the radio im not going to vote on it lol
Also Norways entry is overrated. I cant understand why people like it so much. I like Finland though but it doesnt feel Eurovisiony.'
Also Malenas (la voix) husbands name is Aeneas. Isnt it so cool to have an fantasy name? I immedlity thought of the mean taskmaster Aedlas Blackmoore of Durnholde Keep in the very beautiful and toucnhing book Lord of the Clans.

wait a second, eurovision is tonight..? AAH my brother is going to scream "wohoo yes!!!111" 24/7 now
otherwise eurovision is OK but it's overrated.
is it today or next week?

I do sadly agree, but the problem is that countries are voting of the wrong people.

Anyway the best eurovision song is from Lithuania performed at eurovision'06 at Athens.

Belgium is sending a Copycat 
I like Hadise (Turkey's entry), did you know that she once competed in the Belgian version of Idol? She had a few hits over here, and then she became famous in Turkey (where she now presents the Turkish version of Idol). I wish her luck.

I'll watch this edition,like I've watched it also in previous years.Well,I don't know if I'll enjoy this one much,because for me most of the entries sounds the same for me (NOTE:I don't listen all),and the most are not good (I can't say that they suck).
Well,this year I won't vote (I was an idiot that I voted previous years,but well  )

That's true  Anyway,but the good thing is that the "The Balkan Girls" (sorry for the 2 "the",but there is also the first word of the Romanian entry song) is better then the previous 2008-opera-entry 
From 2006,all the Romanian entries sucked

Complete list of the entries which qualified in final:
Turkey, Iceland, Finland, Romania, Armenia, Sweden, Bosnia, Malta, Israeli, Portugal
Turkey and Finland were the best for me.But Montenegro and Switzerland doesn't qualified,but they had some nice entries.

Warning, country critism alert
Lol this year sucked. I liked Iceland, Sweden and Malta in "Eurovisionary thoughts" but I liked Finland and Turkey too but dont think they deserve to win because they are not Eurovision songs.
Also Eurovision feels like an childrens show. Almost all entries are silly or stupid. Also I wish people would understand that it is an song contest not an top model contest.
Portugal: Please give up.
Ukraine: I hate this country so much in Eurovision. Last year silver suits/astronaunts and now purple night elf/protoss hybrid aliens.
Israel: Lame.
Sweden: What's up with the sound? Russian quality...
And the dress sucked. We wasted like 70.000 euro on it or something and the old black dress fitted much better.
And the program leaders. The guy was like "Zomg zomg we result have! Zomg zomg!" and the annoying girl felt like an 14yr old b*tch.
Amateurs.
Not to mention Russia holding the show overall.
I have never seen so strong patrioism... The patrioism was horrible.
Atleast we got to the final and I believe Sweden will come in 9th place.
Also I would like to see an Eurovision in Reykavik. So awesome.

Iceland was best song of last night by far. I kind of liked the song from, was it Andorra, also, but she didn't make the cut to finals. :/ And have to agree with you Xerox, the show was lame by a mile, and what was with all the patriotism ... puke.

Haha, it's funny how we (finnish) have sucked in Eurovisions before Lordi but it seems that hard rock / metal doesn't work anymore (Teräsbetoni got only few points at last year's finals) and now we sent Waldo Interesting to see how our pop artist manages at the finals. I do NOT believe we'll win but it would be nice to get to the top 10 at least.
Personally I liked Iceland, Sweden (her voice was interesting, pretty low at verses and very nice and high at chorus... reminded me little about Nightwish when Tarja was still in the band) and some other countries I forgot already.
I'm not big fan of the contest but it's always nice to see how our little beloved Finland manages it was a shock how our ice hockey team fell so early, even we managed to beat Canada

I read in the newspaper yesterday that if Norway wins, my hometown would host Eurovision next year 
If that happens, the population in this area would be doubled during Eurovision next year XD
EDIT: Seems I was wrong, if we win my hometown MAY host the next Eurovision.
