You know, you always think that the own country's performance sucks but when you see the other songs you think it's pretty good actually. Happened to me again.

Sorry to all Belgians,but I hated your entry - Copycat =  .Again sorry if you felt offended
For the other songs,I personally like Switzerland,Montenegro,Finland (the best IMO),Turkey.Andorra's one was also nice.
I think Sweden could have a lot better entry,the same thing also for Bulgaria.Israel one qualified because the "message" of the song - "There must be another way" and the arabic-israelian singers.Portugal qualified because using the traditional style which was original.Czech-Republic don't take care more about what they have chosen - original but too kidish
As for my country's entry,I felt quite nervous because it hardly qualified to the final.I think we'll get a 5+ place

The Walloons only send good entries when they can afford to organize the Song Contest. If they cannot, they make sure that they cannot win. The RTBF already organized a Eurovision COntest (in 1987), and it send them spinning in a bottomless financial pit.

So you dont vote for the songs in your countries?
In Sweden we have Melodifestivalen (The Meldoly Festival) which is split into 4-5 semi-finals. The swedish people votes and in the end there are duels between the songs.
Two songs goes directly to the finale and one to "Andra Chansen" or "The Second Chance".
In the second chance two additional people go to the finale.
In the grand finale of Melodifestivalen there are judges from all major regions but the Swedish people has the most power.
We also have the "European Judges" from other countries that vote for one to go the finale.
Sorry, the new system is very hard to explain in english and the newspapers complain about that its complicated (which it isn't, I think).
I liked Switzerland but Boralus or whatever the country was called (White Russia/Vitryssland in Swedish) was just silly lol.
Switzerland/Schweiz is also one of my favorite countries along with Luxemburg in Europe.
But wtf are countries like Israel doing in EUROVISION Song Contest? You are not even europeans, please go away and replace with Italy

I voted twice on Iceland but it only cost 1 euro in Sweden (for two votes).
Would be really cool with an Eurovision in Iceland

This has to Romania's strategy as well since we haven't been able to build anything decent in the last 20 years yet alone host a contest of this anvergure.

I have heard excuses but this one is the best "we deliberately send poor entries" Hahaha
btw Mihai Traistariu - Tornero was 4th in 2006.

And Luminita Angel placed third in 2005. Not to mention that Romania was able to place themselves for the final almost everytime... something you cannot say about every country

Yeah,2005 was a really great year for Romania,not just at music
Ok,"Let me try" (Romania's 2005 entry) was the single one that I voted at that Tele-voting and it go to Eurovision.However,I think it was very original and that's why we got 3rd place(those who saw Eurovision '05 know).2007 and 2008 sucked a lot for Romania.In 2007 we got 13th place and in 2008 30th if I remember correctly.I don't expect much from this year

But some people believe in werwolfs and vampires in your country and Iceland is very isolated so its not strange.
Also im so upset that people say that Malena (singer of swedens song La Voix) is a man! If are an proffesional opera singer for several years then you do sacrifice your "feminie" voice.
Its mostly the east europeans complaining too and the brittish.
For them its like this:
