I saw Transformers 3, or at least the first 40 minutes of it. Then I stopped watching it. That was some awful ****.

Battle: Los Angeles is an underrated movie in my opinion. It didn't seem to get very good reviews, as a lot of people said that it was full of every war cliche imaginable, but I thought it was a well done movie with a lot of smart, intense action in it. Yea it definitely had some cliche characters in it, but sometimes being realistic means being cliche. Also John Fitzgerald (i.e. Harvey Dent from the Dark Knight) did a really nice job as the main character. One of the cool features I liked is that the movie was about a classic alien invasion of Earth, but then they zoomed in on a specific group of soldiers and told their little story in it.

Thor was also better than expected and surprisingly tear-jerking It was my favorite Avenger movie except for maybe Ironman.

And then there's Gnomeo and Juliet. Was a very cute romance that I'd also recommend watching.

BOLA was interesting to say the least, but it was pain inducing that they apperantly had the 'carpet bombers' stationed a few miles from the hot zone, and they had no contingency plan, or were dumb enough to think that an enemy that dropped out of the sky would have no aircrafts ,

But I enjoyed it aswell, a few things just poked my brain a lil, but over-all a good movie .

It's easy. I didn't know the guy's name when I was typing the post, so I typed something in google and saw at first glance "John Fitzgerald" next to two-face and the Dark Knight (in those 2 sentences they show beneath the link for the keywords you type in) and then switched back to the other tab.

Apparently John Fitzgerald played Two Face in the 2008 TV series Two of a Kind

Aaron Eckhart is the guy.

Not a movie, I know, but I finally got around to watching Terra Nova's pilot.

Interesting premise and very impressive production values.  Unfortunately, the writing is fairly clunky, the situations contrived and the characters are very cliche.  It remains to be seen whether the series will succeed.  If the writing doesn't improve, I have my doubts.

Still, it was entertaining enough....

Exactly.

I think we're having a sci-fi fallow period right now

A woman sues the movie Drive.

Well, she is technically suing the moving theater and the film distributor because she was unhappy with the movie, believe it misled her and is antisemitic.  My favorite part is how she is suing in circuit court for a refund of her movie ticket, which was offered to her by the movie theater.  I don't think a circuit court judge is going to be happy to see a suit for $8.50 in his or her docket.

I was amazed how much I loved Tangled. Repunzel looked like an annoying ***** in the preview, but the movie itself was wonderful, and the scenery in the movie was gorgeous. I loved the bright colors they used.

The remake of The Thing is out. Will be interesting to see how they did on it. It looks like an exact redo, except the main character has a vagina.

Yes, one of the best Disney animated features in quite a while, if not ever.  Of course, having a 4 year old girl, I've watched it about 4 billion times.

Just watched Ninja, t'was ok.

First 20 minutes were ass, then it presumed to kick ass. Well made fight scenes.

Looked cooler on the cover though. Was full of awesome reviews but it was just... ok.

Look at the fight scenes on youtube and don't watch the movie. Don't pay for it like I did. Bah.

K... so I bought two movies... one left... 22 bullets. Luc Besson + Jean Reno never goes wrong. Will watch tomorrow.

Did anybody else watch Ironclad? I thought it was a decent movie but somehow I felt like if they were going to make a movie around the events of the Magna Carta, they should have made it more... grand. I was expecting the movie to involve more than a small group of elite badasses defending a castle.

I feel sorry for the Danish dude, forced to obey such an imbacile, I haven't seen him since 'The 13th warrior' the film also had several scenes that reminded me of that film, which isn't necessarily bad. As I said earlier the Danes speak hungarian pretty well, which is very unorthodox in the movie industry.

As a movie, it was entertaining.  Don't expect anything even d resembling historical accuracy, though.

It was funny because he looked exactly like Buliwyf in the 13th Warrior, except he was obviously older as an actor He had such a distinguished look that that anybody that ever saw 13th Warrior would instantly recognize him.
