Is "Gifted" any good? I like stories like "Good Will Hunting".

Henry Cavill's mustache will have to be digitally removed for Justice League since his role in mission impossible requires him to keep it during movie production. Digital shaving lol, what's the world come to.

Wouldnt it be much cheaper to use a fake mustache in the other one? Well, maybe it's for publicity.

Yes it would be cheaper to use fake mustache or even add mustache in post production, compared to digitally removing it. But why would Universal care about how much it costs Warner Bros to remove it...

Edit: Just watched Moonlight. How I love cinema like this. It takes it's time, there is barely any dialogue. And it just works. Sometimes I worry that there isn't room for movies like this in the hectic world we live in, but luckily it ain't so

I watched Allied and it just didnt cut it for me. It's a quality production WW2 piece, so, I dont exactly regret watching it, it's not a horrible movie but:

1- Brad Pitt is what now, 55? And still trying to look 35. Spending millions for period authenticity and then putting a botox face star in the 1940's, that kind of sums up Hollywood, doesn't it?
2- The twist in the middle was seen from a mile ahead, too predictable. The ending wasnt exactly out of radar zone either.
3- Somebody please tell the producers that the only party music during 1940's wasnt Benny Goodman's Sing Sing Sing, I'm so tired of hearing it in almost every scene where there's WW2 soldiers, their dames and booze.
4- SPOILER If the Germans wanted the ambassador dead from the beginning, then, Marianne must have been a mole from the beginning, since the Germans then, wanted her to have a co-op with the Canadian spy deliberately, so all her regret when she cries "I thought they wouldnt find me here, they threakened Anna" doesnt make any sense? Of course, they would know where she is, they planted her there, themselves.

What do the Americans here think about the movie Snowden (the Oliver Stone one)?

That's a matter of perspective, you can say it was CIA that was in betrayal by breaking the Constitution and lying to its own people and Snowden was the one exposing the betrayal.

This is my view of it, but I haven't seen the movie.

So I've seen Hot Fuzz last night.

Wow. Just wow. It surely wasn't what I was expecting.
Part Police Academy goofyness, part serious crime thriller, a perfect blend of two.

Very entertaining to watch.

Simon Pegg did a lot of parodies of classic themes, with arguably political subplots. Hot Fuzz takes on murder mystery in a conservative small town, the World Ends takes on Body Snatchers. None of them are as brilliant as his first though, Shaun of the Dead.

And an E.T. Parody with Paul, although that's not part of the Cornetto trilogy.

Never knew it was an official trilogy, they even have a DVD box set. It makes sense.

I've seen Fences, one of the best family dramas I've seen for quite some time. It is very well-written to begin with and top notch acting just adds to it. If you always expect for something "big" to happen in a film, you'll be bored with this, it's mostly dialogue, yet dialogue certainly coming from a first class writer. I was extremely glad I picked it.

That movie with Samuel Jackson and Ryan Reynolds somehow managed to make worst weekend in 16 years. How is that even possible?

maybe the overused formula of "two guys that hate each other are forced to work together and end up buddies at the end".

Also, there's a good quality pirate version available on the torrent sites, so maybe that's why.

Hitmans Bodyguard has done decently I think. It is the most grossing movie of Raynolds after Deadpool. He has been in a lot of stinkers tbh.
