I usually use this site to find outdated or B-movie soundtracks which I can't find in other regular platforms. It doesn't have Maximum Overdrive but many many times, it delivered stuff I was desperate to get my hands on.

Terminator: Genisys is a completely unnecessary movie, even more than the other two after Judgement Day. Watched it the other day and that's probably the only lasting impression I'll have from it after a few months. Arnold's ageing T-800 is a secondary character that only lacks a cane to look completely ridiculous, the time shifts - being a terribly bland plot device even outside a universe which has already exploited them too much - are pretty much the only excuse for the whole story, which even reuses ideas from T3 which it is supposed to disable plot-wise and even the action scenes are nothing that stays in your brain after they're over (right now I can remember only the initial fight between the "old" T-800 and the "evil" T-800 and by the end of the week I'll probably have forgotten that too). Ironically, the awkward attempts at humour fit better than all the serious scenes which try to make this essentially un-Terminator movie more Terminator-like (and fail). From the actors, only Emilia Clarke delivers some good performance, the "Kyle Reese" guy looks like an underwear model who mixed the shooting grounds, the "John Connor" guy tries to hard to look adequate but doesn't make it and Arnold behaves like he got into the movie among his other duties and decided to make some fun out of it. All in all, not really catastrophic result - especially given that nobody had bombastic expectations - but something which could have been skipped for the good memory of the original two movies.

Well technically it should have ended after T2... but, money, money, money. And getting Arnold to play him again, no matter how bad the plot was. Popcorn flicks.

I don't care enough to watch the new Terminator. If Arnold is going to keep acting he needs to do something fun.

Actually, my expectations were so low and I was so convinced it was going to turn out a disaster, I ended up having fun watching it. I think it's at least better than the one with the female terminator who turns into a rocket launcher.

The distinguishing feature of the female Terminator is that she was a female Terminator, which isn't an uncommon mistake in Hollywood. She was otherwise boring as mud. Just because somebody has two girls and a cockpit doesn't make them original and interesting.

Unless he overrules the law and becomes a non-nativeborn US president. And then he makes former Minnesota governor Jesse Ventura the vice president. And then they disappear together to fight ISIL.

I wasn't very impressed with Age of Ultron.

I'm in the minority here, but in general, Ironman is my least favorite Avenger, at least in the movies.

The Hulk would be awesome except he doesn't actually get his own movies anymore. Captain America: Winter Soldier is probably my favorite Avenger's movie so far. He's fun because he's not so super powerful, and because the Winter Soldier is awesome, and the plot was good. The Ironman plots tend to be a little silly. I think a lot of the gross from the three Ironman movies comes from Robert Downey's high chick magnet potential. His wacky personality as a mechanical genius is interesting too. The best Ironman movie was Ironman 2, and that's just because this guy is a badass, though the ending was kind of 'meh'.

I agree, minority or not, the Iron Man films are my least favorite, and I like The Hulk and Cap A characters and Cap films, and the one solo Hulk MCU film we got, even if they replaced Edward Norton later.

Age of Ultron was average, really. Not near the best of MCU. And Iron Man 2 is my favorite Iron Man film, more than the first, and definitely more than the third.

And yes, Downey makes those solo films good enough, and Rourke was awesome in 2.

The Revenant. Pretty crazy movie, lots of action, decent-ish story. It started out really great and ended great too, but it definitely could have been shorter (2 hr 30 mins) and not because I don't like long movies but the middle had so much filler nonsense. It really felt like the movie was going nowhere for about 45 mins. Not much background info explained but for the most part I enjoyed the ride.

I definitely like Leonardo and tom hardy is quickly becoming a favorite of mine since he played bane. Hardy does really well in this and Leo does too. If you wanna see it for those two actors I say go for it, enjoy the ride.

I watched The Martian recently.

A nice, modern take on the Robinson Crusoe story.
Really great movie even if the science nerds disagree with it.

On the contrary The Martian is praised for it's accuracy in science.

The sandstorm on Mars was probably it's biggest science flaw, but I guess it was needed for the plot.
