You all need to do yourself a favor a watch Moon. One of the best movies I've seen in a long time. Goes to show you don't need lots of blood and guts to do quality sci-fi.

I think you mean you don't need guts and blood do make a good Horror film as Sci-Fi's don't put massive emphasis on blood and guts and all that.

I guess I meant - lots of action sequences, huge special effects budgets, space marines, guns, and/or blood and guts.

Yeah, I know what you mean. Out of curiosity, have you seen any of 'The Outer Limits'? I prefer the B/W version in the 60's. That's the sort of SCi Fi that I like because it's intelligent in the way it presents things and the stories are good.

i have just watched the "Robin Hood" and i have to say they have made very good piece of movie... finally something different then the all rest....
my wife has stopped eating popcorn, and she stops eating only when something interesting is going on the screen....
So you definitely must see it.....

The new Robin Hood was very good, but it still didn't top the 1990 Robin Hood, although 1990 Robin Hood is probably in my top 5-10 movies of all time.
The new one focused pretty heavily on grand-scale politics, which is cool in a lot of movies, but it wasn't ideal for me with Robin Hood.
Plus, you didn't have Morgan Freeman playing a Muslim in the middle of medieval England or Allan Rickman as the emotional Sheriff of Nottingham. It's almost impossible to top their performance.

The Costner one? I hate to say it, but my favorite Robin Hood is still Errol Flynn.

I think it's comparable with Gladiator, which I really liked a lot also. Though I'm sure it won't get the same ratings as Gladiator. I have a favorable bias for medieval movies.

/agree . Brilliant movie. Best SF in quite some time and one of the best movies of 2009 (it's up there with Antichrist in my list).
And yes, it's over 9000 times better than Avatar >.>

MEGAN FOX GETS REPLACED IN TRANSFORMERS 3 BY A LINGERIE MODEL WITH NO ACTING EXPERIENCE
Fox's character is not being recast, but that an entirely new character was written, apparently in the last week or so, to instead be Shia LaBeouf's new love interest. And the lucky girl is... a Victoria's Secret model named Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. Huntington-Whiteley has no acting experience, with her IMDb page consisting entirely of appearances on The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show and as herself in an episode of Britain's Next Top Model. It's arguable that by casting a non-actress swimsuit model, Michael Bay is sort of making a statement about what he thought Megan Fox brought to the table for the first two Transformers movies.
Hahahaha   And here I thought they picked her for her acting skills. On that note Sam Witwicky is one lucky guy.
