For some reason that I can't put my finger on, I like how they depicted the gods & titans in Immortals. There wasn't much for flashy special effects involved. They just stuck the actors in tacky gold uniforms and went with it.
But yeah. Not a ton of substance to it. The plot was basically like this (*spoilers*):
Hyperion: "My wife and kid died of disease."
Theseus: "Sucks bro."
Hyperion: "Ima slit your mom's throat now"
Theseus: "WTF?!"
*epic battle*

I watched TED even though I should know better. I just hate romatic comedies. Even though jokes were dirtier than usual, it didn't make it anything more than your basic romantic comedy. Blah.
A movie called Love Actually is the exception to the rule, as there has to be an exception of course. Hilarious.

Anyway: Have you seen Expendables 2?
Stallone managed to make the storyline even thiner, and the action pumped another inch or two up! Great Action, funny one-liners/references, and awesome!
EDIT# I just spottet Elvins post, but i still wanna repeat Expendables 2.. It deserves it!
Taken was a great movie. Not sure it needed a sequel though.
Besides, can't we come up with anything more original than "Taken 2"?
How about "Retaken" or "Taken again"?
Gotta love the Die Hard franchise for that. The hell if they're just going to call it Die Hard 2 or Die Hard 3. We get "Die Harder" and "Die Hard with a Vengeance". That's how you know an action franchise is really badass.

I watched Cabin in the Woods recently. Now I can't help but see every horror movie from a cabin-in-the-woods'esque twist... Oh and the movie wasn't bad.

Just watched expandables 2, very meh. Chuck Norris moment was the best from all movie, Schwartzy was out of time, the others just figurative. Stallone not bad, Van Damme stupid as always. The quote of the movie: we should all belong to a museum. I agree.

All I recall about Total Recall, is Arnold, a train, red wasteland, some massive fans that turn off, and a three breasted woman.

I think Minion is talking about the recent remake of Total Recall.
Haven't seen it. Reviews seem to be mixed, and I've never been a big fan of Colin Farrell. I'll see it, because I'm a sucker for sci-fi action movies, but probably in my own home. Most movies aren't worth forking out the money to see in the theater.
You would be right to think so, I guess I was assuming everyone has seen the old one, and hence would assume I have as well.
I am leaning towards not watching it in the theaters as well, as if it were any good I think someone would have mentioned it. Plus it is a remake, which usually doesn't bode well.

I watched total recall the remake one week ago, and I forgot almost everything about, not kidding. Arnold charisma is unique, Colin is fading.
