I watched Metropolis yesterday. It's... quite wierd to see a silent movie with robots. But it was very interesting to see how people in past imagined future. And Freder looked like a member of Kraftwerk... ____________

I just watched Roger Rabbit was framed; the movie can be summed up as a one hour and thirty minute long acid trip, with plot twists every five minutes.

I'm not really a Bond fan or connesseur of Bond movies, but I watched Skyfall yesterday and found it epicly mindblowing, Javier Bardem is superb, and I really liked the fact that they had toned down both the girl and electronic gadget thing. Probably the best action movie I've seen since Dark Knight, and while I admittedly don't see that many action movies, I think I would rate this one in about the same league.

What will happen now?
I like Skyfall but it isn't a Bond movie! Daniel Craig, while he improved in this movie, plays Bond like absolute crap. Bond is suave, humourous and actually looks okay. Think Connery, Moore and Brosnan. The Bond movies of nowadays really lack something for me. I remember in Moonraker when they said something like "Bond is attempting Re-entry" and then you hear "Ohhhhhh James". It's just little things like that that are gone. I wish they would get it back because the humour was, for me, a big part of what Bond is all about.
Don't get me wrong, Skyfall was entertaining, but as a big Bond fan, I still prefer the old ones. There hasn't been a Bond movie that has really gripped me since Goldeneye.

I watched Skyfall yesterday as well. It was really good! I already knew that Bardem as the villain would be totally awesome, but didn't expect it to be in such epic proportions. HE WAS SO AMAZING, and his character was beyond words! I still cant seems to shake the feeling he left on me. Mr Silva, you are here by currently my new favorite movie villain! Honestly I don't know if he really was that amazing, but I can't get rid of this obsession I have for him at the moment... strange. :/

Really? If I recall correctly you defended Craig as Bond in an old discussion where Azagal said Craig sucked as Bond. Though I might just remember incorrectly.
Personally I think Craig is just fine, good to be precise, and from what I have heard the most accurate according to the books. However I am in no way a Bond fan so I don't know or care.

I'm a Craig fan. He's rugged, very handsome, and he's got that perpetual "**** yea" aura about him. Pierce Brosnan definitely embodied the conventional Bond better but I think I prefer the new Bond.

Disney should call Javier Bardem and ask him to play as the Sith Lord in the new Star Wars movies. OMG.
Tell me that he wouldn't be an amazing fit.
They could even save money producing the film because they wouldn't have to use special effects whenever he force-throws or force-chokes people. He could just do it.

Allow me to get a bit nerdy here, on a forum, but aren't movie lasers by necesity bolts? As they are almost never portrayed as continuous beams as that is too far away for bullets for some people to associate it with actual shooting.
