okay some minor spoilers

So this girl has been raped enslaved pretty much all her life. She lives in terror. Bond gets to know this and fracks her. Hours later, he doesn't give a snow when she's shot.

Did I miss that Bond is some kind of sociopath?

He learned to shut off his emotions and not get emotionally attached when he became a 00-agent, you learn this during the Casino Royale movie where he played Bond for the first time, and where the series is rebooted.

It's James Bond. That's how James Bond is. Other than some of the stunt scenes, he's a completely believable character. There are RL people that can do that without becoming sociopaths.

Watched Lawless today. Personally I thought it was pretty boring or maybe I just had too much expectations. Oh well, Guy Pearce's character was rather interesting at least.

Anyways, I got news to share with you guys!

i just watched Bourne Legacy, the Bourne movie without Bourne and it was not as lame as i expected it to be. Nothing close to the Daemon Trilogy though... The trilogy story had ended in a hard way to make a sequel and i'm not sure if liked the sci-fi angle (they are like mutants now, not super spies). still i was expecting something really horrible and it wasn't.

I srysly hope they do a good job with the Man of Steel movie. Superman is my favorite superhero and I am so ready for them to do a proper movie with him. The old 1970s movies were kind of lame, and the recent one with Kevin Spacey was still kind of a let down, which is a shame because I think they got the right feel of the movie, but it never quite climaxed. Plus they need to knock it off with the stupid "Herp derp derp, we need to give Superman bigger character flaws so that people can identify with him" bull****. He's supposed to be an idealistic spandex-wearing godlike boy scout. That's the whole goddamn point of Superman. That's actually what makes him so unique and interesting, and yet classic and original at the same time. If you don't like it, then find another superhero movie to watch.

The only thing that makes me sad is that I have a feeling they might try super hard at being unique and they won't use the classic Superman theme. I frickin' love it. Listening to it makes me feel like I'm capable of clotheslining a supernova with my dick.

YEEEEEEEEEA!

Jesus Christ, I just posted a link which told us that Jamie Foxx will be playing Electro in the next Amazing Spider-man and you guys are just off talking about other non-relevant topics.
Electro?? Can you believe it, I mean who would have expected that?

@Blizz
I really have a good feeling about this movie, Zack Snyder might not be the greatest movie maker, but he's a great director and really knows how to make cool scenes. So combined with Nolan's and Goyer's writing it aught to be good. Besides the cast looks extremely impressive.
The music will never be able to better than the original theme, but I still like to think it will be good. Hans Zimmer is on it after all, so it can't be that shabby.
Personally I think that historically, Danny Elfman has proven to be the best when it comes to making themes for super hero movies.

If you haven't seen it already, Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust is barrels of animated fun.

Also, that new Oblivion trailer looks pretty interesting, although they are clearly attempting to woo me over with their fancy looking vehicles. I love high-tech white stuff. If I ever get a space helicopter some day, it's definitely going to have a sleek white plating.

@Jaba: Yeah, it will probably be a sweet movie, but I'm still lamenting them not having the classic Superman theme. A deaf guy once told me how much he loves to listen to it.

Russians do know how to make comedies.

recently watched Nasha Russia: The Balls of Destiny, a movie of a comical series by the same name. a funny film, satirising the situation of Russia.
Hitler Kaput, a parody of Stirlitz. mostly a mash up of WW2 era and modern times, but sitll enjoyable.

Ivan Vasilievich: Back to the Future. Well, this comes from the glorious Soviet Union. a film about a scientist who invents the time machine and brings back Ivan The terrible to the Soviet era.
