Is the world coming to an end? There an an article saying Uwe Boll's new film is actually good. Stranger things have happened but it would be a pleasant surprise I guess. I love the way he describes in the name of the king

Of course people kept bashing it as well, when I said it was good (in comparison to the others), and copy-pasted their "reviews" as used in generic Uwe Boll movies without even watching it.
And whoever complains about bad acting in Uwe Bolls movies should throw out his TV and burn his tickets, because Boll usually uses famous actors (where does he get the budget?) -- so acting is one of the FEW things that his movies don't lack (although of course it depends).
But then I think the anti-Boll stuff is kind of cult among movie critics.
At least this guy, even if he bashes (or not, haven't read it yet), may know what he is actually talking about. And I appreciate that much more than blind hatred.

Sanity..? WHO IS HIMM??!?
Meanwhile I watched Harry Potter. Decent but something was missing, felt rather shallow compared to the books. Left a rather positive impression so I can't really complain but it could have been better. Beginning to like this Dumbledore

Well what fantasy flick *is* actually good beside LotR I wonder?
Everything can be better, the important thing is to be good enough. No, I didn't watch Harry Potter, not my style.

Reading back on xerox's comments he was quite spot on. Didn't know that the last one will be shot in 2 movies but I suppose it makes sense if they don't want to butcher it badly.

HBP was decent-to-good. Certainly one of the better movies imo, but it featured to little. I would have preferred more Answers rather than Questions (I don't think that it would,'t have taken that long for explaining everything about Horcruxes, would it?)
Since the Make two movies of Deathly Hallows, I really hope that they use the additional screetime to tie up those loose ends. Otherwise, there will be a big gap of consistency between HBP and DH.

*imdb's it*
yeah although it was never broadcast here, and it's from 1988 (so effects can't be that good), but it has decent rating. Thanks for the heads up about it.
what do you think about it?

I'm not Pei and the question wasn't directed at me but Willow is an awesome movie. I used to watch it a lot when I was a kid, and I still watch it today. Effects are a bit dated but I can appreciate it for the time period that the movie was released in. Seriously, you should check it out on DVD or something, TheDeath. It's a very enjoyable movie to watch imo.

Just got back from GI Joe. Can't say how it measured up against the TV show since I never really watched that, but I liked the movie.
