Yes it was a well made movie and enjoyable, if you can get past the tired "wealthy people are amoral snows" and "poor people are the salvation of the universe" themes.

Well, this was a funny coincidence, just came across this link in Facebook. Not that I fully agree or anything but readable article.

The Legend of Hercules was like a walking parade of blatant rip offs. Intro, Saving Private Ryan, ambush scene, the 300, being sold to merchants, the Gladiator... and a little bit of this and that everywhere.

I remember watching the Clash of Titans on TV as a very little kid, the 80's version. I was swept away and astonished by it. Downloaded and watched the oldie again when the CGI version came out but of course, it didnt have the same effect. Anyway, watching Perseus stoning Medusa with her own reflection on the shield is a very distinct childhood memory of mine.

I watched old Clash of Titans as a kid, and liket it too. However, I didn't watch the remake. I heard that it's nothing special.

I got that impression too. Looked all kinds of generic combined into one movie. Not that it seemed to have anything in common with the Hercules I know.

Am I the only one who thinks Resident Evil series are way too overrated (except maybe the first movie which wasnt a total disaster)? Is it some sort of "it's so bad that it's good" thing? I really cant see how something this bad makes it to movie number 6?

They have a steady base of fans that keeps the franchise in the green.
Resident Evil was a well-made movie. I enjoyed it. The sequels have all been standard horror/action films with the artistic flavor of an assembly line manufacturer. I can sit down and watch them and I won't be bored, but their target audience is definitely angsty teenagers.
