Something must be wrong...

You can consider this as a tutorial/plee for help.
What you will learn/what I will demonstrate is how to get rid of the pesky base when creating an arena in Zenithales new arenas mod.

Here goes

First I open the editor(creating a new map of course) and then open the arena tab.

I  drag the Academy_01 stuff and place it
And also drag out the left sidebar

Click the shared text string.
You will see two buttons(see next image) One says new, one says ...

When you click the new button a menu like this comes up.
Click the new button(Be sure to do this first and dont skip to the next step or you will change the model of that item so that when you will drag out that item next time it will have a different model than the orginal)
Write obj/ and the Showntell(or any other name that strikes your fancy)
Click the magic button and then the three dots

Here we have the object menu.
There are many buttons but only 2 concern us.
The model and anim buttons.
The model button is what your creature will look like and the anim button will make it move and all other actions.

Click the model button first.
I will use the peasant model.
First click on the model button and the three dots will show up. Click them.
Then find the model you want to use.
Notes: The editor is very disorganized. When you cant find the model your looking for in the creature tab look in the character tab.
Some creatures are named differently than in game than in the editor so when in doubt look for the most likely name

Now we click ok. Click on the anim button and then the three dots.
Go to the same place the creature model was found and select its anim set(i select only the arena anim set)

Now click ok again and you will see that our peasant has the idle animation.

But Im stuck from here onward.  I cant do anything to change the animation but I at least got rid of the pesky base and since this object has no placement restriction.

select the idle anim skeleton set and replace it with the animation of your choice.(might crash if you do another creatures anim i think.

does this work if you do this after getting the anim set on it?

if U follow my guide (at page 9) U cant be wrong...
clue is to make an new animation file
browse the data.pak file for the animation file U wanna use then copy that one into your map  (remember to change its name till the name U used in your map... then just copy the string (in the animation file) that U want your creature to have...
(always use idle one.....)
if U follow my page 9  only your custom creature will have that animation no one else will

here is an example (wraight animation modded)

test_creature_animation.xdb
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<AnimSet ObjectRecordID="261">
<animations>
<Item>
<Kind>attack00</Kind>
<Anim href="/_(BasicSkelAnim)/Creatures/Necropolis/Wraith/attack00.(BasicSkelAnim).xdb#xpointer(/BasicSkelAnim)"/>
</Item>
<Item>
<Kind>death</Kind>
<Anim href="/_(BasicSkelAnim)/Creatures/Necropolis/Wraith/death.(BasicSkelAnim).xdb#xpointer(/BasicSkelAnim)"/>
</Item>
<Item>
<Kind>hit</Kind>
<Anim href="/_(BasicSkelAnim)/Creatures/Necropolis/Wraith/hit.(BasicSkelAnim).xdb#xpointer(/BasicSkelAnim)"/>
</Item>
<Item>
<Kind>move</Kind>
<Anim href="/_(BasicSkelAnim)/Creatures/Necropolis/Wraith/move.(BasicSkelAnim).xdb#xpointer(/BasicSkelAnim)"/>
</Item>
<Item>
