Heroes 3
Anybody want to play a game vs me on desert war or showdown 3? Any advice how we can play without being on msn gaming zone?

Hehe, you should play against one of those Jebus lovers, who think they are the masters of the game.
Im sure some could use an existing zone room, and just edit the registry entries, to make it work for H3. If the zone and toh would be still there, the game would be still normal active.
But toh and zone did not want to support it anymore.
Would be interesting to play a DW against you. Maybe i can find some time. Take a look at Hamachi for H3 online games.

Uh...i dunno....i was like the 4th to last person in the zone when it shut down and i can tell you for a fact there were few if any in there.
Tel and greystole were even gone. thats how bad things had deteriorated. Just a couple of eastern block dudes i never saw around before.

Most people play on random maps, however still there are few players who love fixed maps. Stuff still plays fixed, for example.

OMG where have you been all these years? HoMM3 players come to Gamespy server (www.gamespyarcade.com/download). You can find 15-25 people online at 15.00-20.00 GMT.

Jebus is extra-popular however there are a lot players who play different templates - 8mm6, 2sm4d3, Blockbuster, Balance, True random and many more.  Also, people still create good new templates!  You can find new templates and (new!) their pictures at my league. If Ves will allow, I will post link later (not going to promote my league in ToH sub-forum).

I understand now, but which of the three programs do you recomend me to download. Of course I would prefer the free one, but if the others are much better I would deliberate one of them instead?

in free version of Gamespy u will see some banners...If u don't bother about banners then download free version. There is no difference in gameplay.
Also, you can try GameRanger (installation required) or WCL main chat (installation not required).

Okay I will try that. Thank you very much. I hope I can find somebody to play against before long. Untill now I've only tried TCP/IP, but its quite seldom that you find somebody who want to play and it is more difficult to set up than playing on the internet.

Broke like week 1 day 7 lol.
Took over your land then made one mistake lol.
I slept in your town with no mahhhgic lol.
Fought me in your toewn with nothing lol.
That ssucked but it was a fast paced goooood game!
