I remember I used to love to watch my brother play Dragons Lair & Space Ace lol.
Punch out in the arcade was fun. Get to fight them in the blue trunks after you beat them in the red.
They really did have alot of great Arcades in the 80's
Some kids dont know but back then in a Pizza joint you can play the sit down Pac Man.
Some other arcades etc.
They used to have them everywhere before they made entertainment for your house fun.

You know I've been to a children's hospital in Dayton (with my cousin to get his little girl's cleft palette fixed) that still has the sit down Pac-Man game?!

I downloaded an Atari emulator with games once there quite possibly was over 1000 games since I downloaded all the zips A-Z... Really i think more like 6000 is a fair estimate but it has been along time, all of them worked that I tried (about 50 of them) no problems with any, but I am thinking it is possible people added games they created themselves after Atari was not so common anymore.

I am pretty sure resurrection of this concept in an old thread would not have gotten the same feedback as this one did..
I am against forcing people to use the old long gone threads for a few reasons but thats just me. It would get more activity if the old ones were deleted or archived verses using a dead topic to try and start a new conversation.
sry for being off topic but it seems this topic is doomed by the ones stuck in the past ha

Oh yea they used to have Arcades in Liquer stores like 7-11.
