I recommend to watch the replay, for sure interesting, and give me good advice on how to turn the battle. I made a couple (probably more) of bad mistakes in final that i know myself, but of most important was pre-final mistakes; eg. life and summon was absolutely worst possible schools for final, no haste even if i had arcane intuition, and had to take a 100% useless light perk Suppress light(thought it would make haste twice as expensive for daughters, and i had to eliminate it to get storm wind, ofc only hero is affected though)

I am amazed at how Elit managed to up defence to 43 and find the perfect strategy to take me down. GRMF, vengeance awaits

When final battle is late night 1am mistakes are normal. I think game is your with careful play.

Want to give from this game example to Jinxer and his supporters about modin Ring and Staf to be same slot. Do you notice crazy ini to all academy units? Fred have 3 rings when normal you can have max 2. So put staft and ring same slot can bring new imbalance

Sims turn problem

Hey Fiur,

At the moment we're playing with Elit (1.72 version). On week 3 day 2 sims turn broke suddenly (we both had army with us). We were both near to bridge garrisons, I don't know if it has sthg to do with the issue. Please look into it

The map experience is very good so far

Fixed...!

I'm aware of the brigde garrison (and that it could cause a problem)
something to do with the calculated power of the Amry in that garrison, atm I'm on holliday and I will not be back home till this friday.....  then I will fix that problem...
(if someone like they coud just add 2 more death knights in the brigde garrison, just to see if the sim stay....)

I was playing a game against Kispagat yesterday he had 1 annoying issue who could show up in this style what if player 1 take player 2's castle and the opposte... then U could run in an infinity loop...
yeah that would be annpying so that needed an sollution...
Elvin came up with this: why not but an 2 ways mono next to each town...  yeah that would be great...
then I needed help with scripting... (cause that mono needed to be blocked until opponent take the other ones castle...)
well I asked Warmonger... so yes... now that thing works...
1 2ways mono next to each town now.... and U get access to it as soon as U get your opponent's town.... so no infinity running gonna be an issue in this tourney

I think this is not a Great Solution.  

Lets assume that Fiur Takes my town and now has access to a 2 way monolith back and forth to his town so he can not only prevent me from having my town and extra army.. but he now has easy fast access to get all new troops from his town.

Part of the BALANCE of being the attacker is the fact that you MIGHT have to sacrifice some army back home to be the agressor.  Risk and reward.. etc etc.. but with 2 way monolith.. you get reward reward reward for rushing and being agressor etc.


Or Senerio #2 --  I am in the northern underground passage... and opponent is in the southern underground passage... and both heading for each others town... and Say Fiur gets to my town first and then has enough movement to get thru the 2 way portal before I can get his town.. maybe I needed some spells that I was planning on getting from his town... or maybe I just need to have a town so I dont get disqualified so I can finish clearing the other middle section etc..

But if the ENTIRE map is cleared and someone is STILL just running around the map avoiding ending the game then THAT is wrong!


Bottom line.. I understand why you need to come up with a solution.. but this 2 way monolith solution only makes the rusher tactic alot stronger and makes anyone who was slower that game.. at a disadvantage.

And I personally would put this problem in same catagory as Town Sitting... anyone who would purposesly run in circles on map just to avoid ending game.. has NO Honor and for sure would NOT get any further games with me in the future.

Solution for RMG 2m vs infinite run is tear of asha ... Why not for this map too ? I have a lot of games on 2m and none finished with finding of tear, still no more runners on 2m ... Just need to put decent number of obelisks, not 5-10 ... Generate one map 2m with tear on, and you will have the idea how this work.

Just put 1 obeslisk next to each town....

But I must agree with Jinxer there should'nt be necessary to make the map the way I did (in 1.76)....
cause I think players who would try to "drag" the game in this style (hero style) or any onter styles for that matter.... is just silly...

If some one want to run lets run
Just set after month 4-5 every week to be plague...and new victory qest (from month 4-5) "Get 2 towns".

One possible solution would be to add artifact Boots of Swift Journey somewhere on the map and make them available no sooner then week 6 or later.

Two-way monolith seems decent solution as well, if you can make scripts work that way.

Zilo thats what I did  (or more like Warmonger did, he made the script for me)
so now when you take your opponent town the logs who blocks the mono's disappear....

So.. any more thoughts on how to better handle the Circling Problem after the map is totally cleared?

Cause I am afraid I am not fond of the current solution. Just seems will be sacrificing some strategical game aspects... just to take care of an Ethical Honor Issue.  I have to admit.. I am not the fastest most agressive player.. thats my style.. and this current solution handicaps me and changes the power balance to the rushers side..

Not sure I would even wanna play with current setup... Is there any other possible solutions? I think would be easier to just make a rule that anyone who is running in circles After every thing has been taken first time would be obvious and easy to see and make a ruling on.

Perfect map don't need to rely on ethic, rules etc ... Players just need to play the game, even without any talk ...

The MAIN problem is there is NO SUCH thing as a perfect map in H5... that is because H5 has sooo many UNBalances in general with game design... that its impossible to make a perfect map.

And before you start listing maps the you "Think" are perfect in your mind.. dont for get that it would be your Opinion and what you may think is perfect and what everyone else might think is totally different.. Opinions are subjective.


And on a side note... pertaining to the new 2way monolith that has been added.... I would need all my opponents to agree to ONLY use it IN the event that ALL items on map have been cleared and taken and that a player is running around still avoiding fight with nothing else to take... which would mean he is avoiding.

I really have no desire to play and watch Necro show up week4 day 1 and catch me starting to take middle and he gets both towns to beable to bounce back and forth... Just silly.
