It's important to note that City crumbled down once Silva was subbed. I'd say he deserves a mention too.

(Jesús) Navas, on the other hand, was rather uninspiring. Can't see him having a future in City TBH.

Atlético showed again why they knocked out Barca the previous round. That was a cracking goal.
But I still can't like them. Maybe it's because of Simeone. He looks too much like a mobster. Acts like one too. I'm still waiting for the day that he takes over the Chelsea job.
Bayern need Robben back. And Ribery in top form as well.

Two away goals for Sevilla are sick. They're one step closer to the third finals in a row!

Bayern Munich v. Atlético Madrid   1:1
Real Madrid v. Man City            4:1

Let's see if Atléticos thug football or Bayerns tiki-taka borefest goes through. Atleast Müller is in the starting lineup this time.

8 teams left in Europe, 4 of those are Spanish, no teams from the same nation meet, yet the Spanish teams have the advantage after all first 4 games (if you count away draw 0-0 as an adv.).

They were put off after the missed penalty, however. Atleti is doing their best to drag the game to a slower pace, making it as dirty as possible.

Oblak is a beast though

Simeone is a real thug though.

Guardiola failed again. He leaves Bayern without winning the CL. Good riddance I say.

Atletico remind me of the times when Inter and Chelsea last won the CL. Don't know if that is a compliment or not.
Simeone however is snowing scum. I really hope Zidane headbutts him in the face in the final.

FTFY. Eliminated by three different teams no less.

It's even worse I would say. Atletico is way too dirty.

That would require RM to beat City. With Casemiro injured I have serious doubts it'll happen.

That wasn't beautiful, but it got the job done. RM didn't play at their best, but City were woeful. Never in my life I've seen a team in CL semifinals look so...bored. Uninterested. Souless. It looked more like City was playing a filler Group Stage match than the snowing 2nd leg of the CL

Guardiola certainly has a lot of work to do, starting this summer.

Sevilla FC v. Schachtar Donezk         1:1
Liverpool  v. Villarreal               1:0

Let's see how Liverpool try to break down that Villarreal defense. My bet it goes to penalties.

Liverpool v Sevilla    1:0
This Sevilla defense isn't that solid. They already could have had 2 penalties for handball. They are good in attacking tho.

You can repeat that!!!

Missed the first half, so I can't comment on the handballs (no gifs on reddit). Sevilla were solid on the 2nd half, showing why they are the kings of this competition in the past few years. Three titles in a row, what an achievement it is!

Well that turned fast once Sevilla turned up the pace.
The Liverpool defense is dreadful. But it was the attack that lost this game. They basically went missing in the 2nd half so they couldn't capitalize on Sevillas' shaky defense.. Some of the players seemed resigned to defeat way before the whistle sounded. Klopp still has a lot of work left.

Well, this one totally came out of the blue! 150 days ago Madrid was stuck with Benitez and everything looked so grim back then...

Not gonna lie, that was a rather uneventful final. Ramos goal was offside, but it was so early in the match, with RM dominating that you can't predict how the match would had fare without it. In any case, Atletico also pulled back after scoring and let Madrid breah and get back into the game, unnecessarily dragging the game to OT and penalties...they defeated themselves too.

Ronaldo was invisible and there're talks about renewing him
On the other hand, Casemiro was a snowing beast, he was everywhere! He and Navas must continue next year 100%.

I feel bad for Atlético, they become a powerhouse in Europe, the two finals they reach, both losses against their bitter rivals. That sucks big time

Euro 2016 anyone?
France v Romania             3:0

Who's gonna be the dark horse this year? My bet is on Slovakia this time around. With so many bad teams participating, one of them/us has got to go far.

Considering Spain might lose De Gea, Muniain (and Javi Martinez?) before the tournament even begins, I'm totally not expecting anything from my country team

Germany are the clear favourites, France definetly has a shot with being the hosts and a fairly decent team.

My dark horse is Poland, they looked great on the qualifying stage and I can see them upsetting bigger countries.
