I'm pretty sure that Neuer was originally created in a lab. It is impossible that he is ordinary man.

Goals on 89' and 91', meh
I got to watch the first 20 minutes of Liverpool-RM second half, and I was pleased with what I saw, solid play from Madrid

Storm-Giant said: La Liga teams aren't that bad, but Barça defense has been very solid. RM offense is on another level though, 0-3 in Anfield and now 3-1 vs Barça, in 3 days!
La Liga teams aren't that bad? Athletic Bilbao disagrees with you.
I remember 10 years ago, teams like Valencia and Deportivo had the quality to potentially win CL, Real Madrid was undisputed the strongest team ever with players like Zidane, Figo, Ronaldo, Makelele, Raul, Beckham, Casillas, Cambiasso, Roberto Carlos..

If I remember correctly, last season in Europe (UCL + EL playoffs) only one spanish team lost to a non-spanish team...no, spanish league has strong teams and shouldn't be understimated.
Oh, and Bilbao season is really, really weird. Dunno what happened with them :/

Now they don't have a chance to win CL because some teams (RM, Barcelona, Bayern, Chelsea, etc...) are just insanely stacked and had too much money (in Spain TV rights are to be blamed, an unfair distribution favouring too much Barça & Madrid).
But despite that, last season we saw Atletico in the finals of CL + La Liga winners + Copa del Rey semifinals

Yeah, Real almost lost to little brother Atletico in the CL final... if that had happened, you would have been humiliated..
Edit: Well sure, if you count Europa League, but for the sake of me being right and you being wrong, let's ignore Sevilla, Betis and Valencias performances. That laves out Atletico and Real Sociedad in CL. Let's ignore Atletico's performance as well. Then we can conclude that indeed La Liga teams, apart from Real and Barca of course, did horribly!

I know, but happily they didn't
My only concern is if the team has the depth needed for all three competitions. They have absurdly raw power and skill, my god...

Well how important is Copa Del Ray regarded in Spain? Getting all 3 titles is of course very nice, but I imagine it's the least attractive one?
Btw. I can see this season that once again Sociedad has disappointed. Further more, I'm shocked to find out that Bilbao does so terribad after eliminating Napoli who I thought to be rather strong.
What do you think about the EL winner will get a CL spot next season? Sevilla is a strong contender for the EL once again.. I imagine the same goes for Inter Milano and Tottenham with Fiorentina, Everton and similar as outsiders..
The thing is, though, Italian teams, who usually were known for winning the Uefa cup all the time in the 90's, doesn't regard the tournament as important anymore. Of course the change that the EL winner gets a CL ticket for next season may chance that, but otherwise that means especially Inter, a team that won CL not that many years ago, aren't that terrifying.. On the other hand, we've seen that even mediocre English teams such as Middlesbrough and Fulham can reach the EL final, so I guess more powerful teams such as Everton and especially Tottenham shouldn't be forgotten.

It's much less attractive than CL or la Liga, but at this point RM and Barça MUST fight for all three titles (and of course you never want to spend 18 or 19 years without winning it like Madrid did).

I think it's a good decision, and some teams will take EL more seriously.
