OMG! Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson died!
It was all over the news earlier today that Farrah Fawcett of Charlie's Angels fame died today at the age of 62 with her ongoing battle against cancer.
Now what is all over the news just shocked me.
Michael Jackson, the "King of Pop" has also passed away. He was rushed to the hospital a few hours ago after suffering a heart attack and found in his home not breathing. Paramedics worked on him on their way to the hospital where it was announced that he was in a coma. Then moments later they announced that he had passed away at the age of 50.
Just wow.

My mind is still trying to recover from the fact that David Carradine ended up dead in a closet in Bangkok with a rope around his neck and penis...
Failed naughty guy? Yeah probably.
I miss him... he was so great...
Didn't really know all that much about Jackson though. It's sad that the first thing that comes to mind when I think about him is all the pedophile stuff. Guess I missed out a lot.

I seriously don't care.
if I had to feel bad each time someone dies...
unless you knew them personnally, or they represented something important to you, I don't see why you care? empathy with their families?
(sorry for the tone, I'm not sure how to express it another way)

What I find ironic is that Jackson was diagnosed with skin cancer and dies from a heart Attack.

Are you dead inside or trying to be? Growing up with someone's movies or songs you can't help but sympathise. Although they never knew you they had some influence on you, entertained you, made you think.

also I try to ignore the bad things when it's not related to me.
mickael jackson, most people like him for who he was when he was younger, not for who he was right before he died, from what I know, the artist has been dead (or hidden?) for quite a long time already.

I checked it out just now after I saw Xerdux mention it. I'm shocked and really quite sad right now. He was a great artist both of The Jackson Five and as a solo artist. He'll be missed.

I was at work when I got the text about almost 3 PM pacific time.
CNN already confirmed he is dead.
It is a tragic loss.
Ed McMahon a couple days ago.
Fawcett & Michael.
Michael is a big part of my past. He was hugh when i was younger.
50 is still young.
RIP yall.
I would not worry about Fauch.
Some people are raised to not care.
Who cares what he thinks.

Michael beat it once and for all.
Usually people don't just fall into a coma, though, especially not when they want to tour again. Let's wait for the autopsy result - there may be more to it.

Hmm and Fawcett had just started to make commercials again (or if she had been I never seen them).
As I said in the other thread..Michael Jackson had some personal issues, but his Music was amazing and I even liked his dancing. When you grow up influenced by somebody's music or watching an actor on TV..or something like that it is sad when they leave this world.

His dancing was just about the best thing about Wacko Jacko. He used to be all about the song and dance but then last couple of decades was more about the scandals. Remember that hyperbolic chamber Jacko claimed would make him live longer? It's all a lie now since he's passed on.
